The very first time I played with resin, I used two part and did several drops like these. I then played and made some that ran, like a water drop, and I still love those. That was about 5 years ago. For some reason, little drops are just beautiful to me. I love the backing of black. You could honestly just cover them with black sharpie and then a coat of clear. I love all you do because you’re fearless. ✌🏻🤍

Funny, I was actually doing similar earlier on today but not dots. I had been peeling bits of resin off a plastic cup and it had been coming off in one piece with holes in it, a bit like craters so thought it would look good behind something if it was coloured. I put some glitter powder on my silicone mat then spread some UV resin over it but was too thin to peel off so need to see if I can do it again as I had to stop to make dinner

It’s a good thing I don’t live next door to you. Neither one of us would ever get any sleep. I don’t know about you but ( being a fellow craft experimenter) when I lay down at night my brain won’t shut off, even if it has been going all day long and sometimes all the night before. I just can’t help myself. I have no self control. If I think of a new idea in the middle of the night I have to go out to my studio and try it out. Sometimes I’m out there until the sun comes up. Then I take a nap for a couple hours and go back out there. It’s a good thing I’m retired and not married. I don’t think me husband could put up with such unpredictability. But I like it. Just like you, I make my share of mistakes but I learn a lot of cool stuff and have a lot more successes along the way. Life can be so much fun, especially for us crafters who literally have everything we could ever want in our studios. I see your joy and understand you when you say the more tedious things are actually relaxing. A lot of people may think that is contradictory or a little mad, but some of us get it.
