European Railfanning Trip Pt 19 - Western Switzerland Odyssey

In this part we travel nearly the full length of western Switzerland from Nyon on the shores of Lake Geneva to Basel at the confluence of the German and French borders. Along the way we'll briefly tour the classically French city of Nyon 0:16, with its narrow gauge NStCM railway 2:00, and then to Morges 4:30 for a look at the narrow gauge BAM railway. We leave the Lake Geneva changing trains in Neuchatel 8:05 and finally reaching La Chaux de Fonds 9:28 in the Jura highlands. Next morning we ride the full length of the narrow gauge Chemins de fer Jura (CJ) 10:50 through scenic and largely undiscovered far west Switzerland, and finally take a regional SBB train from Glovelier 22:21 into Basel.
