9mm has some really good options for ammo these days. That Norma MHP is always on sale at PSA and I try to buy some every time I have 2 nickels to rub together. I've been super impressed with it. I was happy to see the diminutive 22 put on a good showing but there was a huge gap in performance. Caliber definitely plays a huge part when rounds are put in the right spots. Thanks for checking out the video. If you get a chance take a look at the short I did with a 45-70. That finished the old ham off. 😆

Good stuff. There's a lot of us who love 22 (and smaller calibers) and may need to use it for def backup. I was hoping you could also use 40 gr Minimag or similar, otherwise "the normal stuff" as more of a middle road. I can't even get Velocitors where I am (but do have Punch). Might also try a second shot with three layers of t-shirt over (or same one bunched up)?

I can grab another expired ham and do a 22 only comparison. That's actually a great idea. I have mini mag HP and a few others. I don't have Punch. Haven't even seen a box around here. Thanks for the idea. I'll throw a T Shirt on the next ham.

@@573reviews Wow, weird to hear that. Where I am, can't get a lot of things - Velocitors, Interceptors, 32 sw longs, could type all day, but then people in other states seem to say the opposite of what they can and can't. As for Punch, I sort of don't trust it mainly because it's so low grain, I question it's ability in various barriers. That's why, for now, I just keep my 1.8" lcr loaded with 40g Minimags.

@mikem.2078 are you running the round nose? I've heard a lot of people run them instead of HP to get more penetration on target. I'd more than likely agree with that being the right thing to do. I always run fmj when carrying a 25acp too.
