Thanks for the video! Good comparison test. Although I don't carry 22lr for self defense....I do use 32 &380. I do think all carry guns are a compromise between concealability, and fire-power...between weight, and shootability! The guns people like to carry(conceal)are not that easy to shoot...and the ones we love to shoot, generally are not easy to conceal. It's fun trying to find that happy medium! 👍😎

Thanks for the video. When I was younger I was more willing to vary my clothing to cover up my larger caliber carry guns; but as I get older, the discomfort of a fat double stack pressed against my hip bone is a bit much, especially in these desert summers. I’m looking for an appropriate summer gun that I can conceal in comfortable clothes, and the .32 or .380 will be the likely choice, Keltec P32 or Ruger LCP MAX…… I’m still wishing Ruger had continued their trend from Max9 through LCP Max, and landed on LCP32 Max. Imagine the LCP Max in a 32ACP, Ruger could probably have 12 rounds and less than .75” at the widest…… #Ruger #SturmRuger #RugerRnD

Please keep these videos coming, love these pocket pistols. I carry an LCP 380 or P32 and am interested in the lcpII 22lr. Nice job on this video, I just subscribed. Please review the Xtreme defender ammo in 32acp & 380, they seem to be gamechangers for these microcarry pistols. Thanks and be well.

May that be because the .32 was used more recently as a "carry" option, and we in Europe have had more modern guns in .32? We do not have so much acess to these older guns because all surplus in europe is sold in the USA?

The .380 auto is sometimes considered a "mouse gun" caliber like the .32 auto, the .25 auto, and the 22lr. But the .380 auto clearly outperforms the .32 auto, often by a wide margin. I'd go with the .380 auto for that reason.

Nothing wrong with the 380 other than price and availability. Its probably just a skill level thing but i can fire off 3 380 in the time it takes me to shoot 2 9mm.

Good afternoon, this topic is a matter that requires certain knowledge of basic physics to understand and determine if the .22lr works for defense and I mean if you have punch to stop an aggressor and I think that depending on the .22lr cartridge that is being used if it can have the same punch as a .380 for example. The subject has to see with the MOMEMTUM (Newton Mechanics or Continuous Medium) (Wikipedia source), the momentum or amount of movement is increased if we increase the speed or if in turn if we increase the mass, then such that to give an example: If a 200kg motorcycle at a speed of 250 km / h would cause the same damage when hitting a concrete wall as if in turn a 20-ton truck at a speed of 70km / h hits the same wall as the motorcycle. This mass / velocity relationship is called momentum and also applies to a warhead of smaller caliber at higher speed against a larger caliber warhead at a slower speed. So if a .22lr has enough speed it could have equal or more momentum than a 9mm x 17.380 or even a 9mmx19

You ONLY use FIOCHI ball ammo in a Kel-Tec 32 if that's your carry!!! No Jams!!! Deeper penetration! Best results! Period!!! Kel-Tec .32 does not snap back and stays on target. If you have arthritis its a great alternative!

@ericsnow36633 жыл бұрын
Just keep shooting until they stop being a threat to you or your loved ones. You've got the right state of mind in wanting to stop rather than kill a threat. Even a .22 can easily kill someone. And many times people survive multiple 9mm even 45 cal. Wounds. Caliber probably has less to do with lethality than where they get hit.

Some people just can't. Older or handicapped people that couldn't even handle a 9mm are better off with a small pistol they can use rather than nothing. These are all better than nothing pistols. 25, 32, or 380 sure is better than nothing.
