I have two late model touring bikes, I kept the original shock lengths, but I'm running Ohlins base Emulsion shocks on the Street Glide, and Bitubo Twin Adjustables on the Road King. Soon as you dump the OEM trash shocks and add something much better in the rear, the showa front suspension "Showas- it's azz more so, so On the front, replaced the springs, replaced the fork oil weight to a lighter oil, and added Ricor Intimnators on both bikes. With these options, and doing the work your self, you can improve the ride and handling by 50-75% and save a huge amount of money.

I have a 2019 Street glide special and the stock shocks are horrible, I have done everything to adjust them and there's nothing I can do to get them to feel ok. Really unhappy with what they put on from factory

I am riding a 2017 Street Glide CVO. I added the Super Shox on the rear. There is a huge improvement in the ride. I will be doing front forks this next winter I believe.

I have a 17 Limited I'm not happy with the rear suspension. I've been thinking about going with the the legend revo A . I've been torn between heavy or not. From what people are saying it sounds like I should go with the standard duty. I'm ordering them next week. I'll let you know how it goes.

Matt, thank you for this great video, it was very informative. Traveling Tall just did one on installing Ohlins on his Street Glide and Adam Sandoval put the Legend Revo A shocks and Legend's front fork cartridge kit on his Road Glide. After watching all 3 videos, I just installed the Fox IFP-Rs to my '17 Ultra Limited. I have a lot of respect for your videos and opinions and I know many more Harley owners feel the same way! Please keep up the good work. As a last request, both Fox and Legend make a cartridge fork kits. I know that both bikes in your video have the Showa SDBV forks, as does mine, but I would really like you guys to test your theory on whether there's enough front end improvement with either of these kits over the stock SDBV set up. The Legend kit is $770 and the Fox is $550, so while not cheap they're not bank killers either. I've had dealers (1 Harley and 1 independent) quote me 6 and 4 hours respectively on install time for these kits. I would love to know if there's enough benefit Gaines before spending the additional installation money on these kits. Thanks and again you're much appreciated for what you do!

06' streetglide. Solo riding. I weigh 185. Would 12" Legend A be good for touring?
