I have a theory about the villagers using emeralds to pay the players. Back when the ancient builders were still around, emeralds were the standard currency. The mineshafts we find in game (besides mesa obviously) were actually emerald mines. This is why the ore is so exceptionally hard to find. The builders almost mined it to extinction, which is why when they discovered the nether and mesas they switched to gold. Villagers trade you emeralds because you look like an ancient builder and they have such a surplus because of the mining fervor back in the day that the only use they have for them anymore is trade with what remains of the ancient builders

The Allay thing isn't really a mystery if you have a good eye and vocabulary. Allays are the opposite of Vexes, which Evokers use. Not only do they have very similar models, but "allay" and "vex" are both verbs which are also antonyms-- to allay is to help or relieve, to vex is to harm or frustrate.

Given that many theories state Pillagers as being good at genetic engineering (perhaps making the zombie) It's my theory that vexes are genetically modified Allays, and Pillagers trap them in order the experiment on and convert them.

The secret behind the lore: Illagers practice dark magic - it corrupts everything, including their appearance. Allays aren't just similar to vexes, but vexes are corrupted or undead (ghost) allays. Like the ghast, the vex is immune to the usual things corporeal undead are harmed by, which is why most don't consider the two monsters as undead.

Fun fact, the nether reactor and glowing obsidian were never fully removed. It cannot be obtained normally, but the nether reactor core texture was upgraded along with the texture update

I have one: There is a lapis block inside of the vindicator statue in a woodland mansion. MatPat's theory on this was that evokers used lapis to mind control villagers and make them into vindicators.

Lapis can also be used as a dye, and last time I checked, Vindicators are the only Illagers with blue eyes. Perhaps the Vindicators Brutish strength comes from the lapis. Weirdest thing that happend to me (and others) was on a realm, i found some random bread on the floor in a nether cave, but nobody went in the nether before, some people thought i just dropped it there, and forgot, until it happend to someone else to. Never figured it out, started our own urban legend, the bread man. 😂

Minecraft Legends seems to imply that Illagers were normal, but their violent tendencies never left, which made them the way that they are. The reason why they capture Allays, is because they’re trying to make the vex. As for Enderman, they’re believed to be the ancient civilization, evolved into being The Enderman. Considering the chorus fruit teleports the player when eaten, seems to suggest thats where the Enderman got their teleporting abilities.

we voted for the phantom because the other 3 were actually worse, like no one would go to the ocean if you would be sucked down into the bottom of the sea and die before you come back to surface, the wildfire would make the nether fortress unplayable, its either the 1,2 or 3 hardest structure, do you really want a miniboss while fighting blazes, magmacubes and wither skeletons? and the last one is a mob that hides and could just destroy your items, while hidden

Wildfire would have been cool though if it was only in a specific part of the fortress. I dont know how they intended it, but if it was clear you enter the "boss room" before encountering it it could have brought more purpose than farm some heads and rods every now and then.

I personally think that the Elytra is made of the dragon's wings, but since it explodes into many smol green orbs you cannot craft it. Also, my theory is that the world was once populated with thousands of Steves, but then one got a nasty cold and there goes everyone but the player.

I think that the reason soul speed speeds us up, is not the enchantment. The enchantment frees the souls, and the souls are rewarding us with speed for setting them free.

The soul sand mystery maybe foundable When we walk on soul sand it makes us slower but why? Well the souls are holding us back with their hands so we become slower. Then what about soul speed? Why do they release particles which show that souls are being released Well the soul speed boots probably free the souls which makes sense why we run faster when we use the soul speed enchantment becuz after freeing them the souls in them are happy that they are able to leave so they dont hold the player with hand anymores

Well, 1. Soul Speed enchantment has multiple levels, so why would the levels matter? Each level gives an increased boost of speed 2. What causes you to run faster than normal speed while using soul speed anyway?

My theory about creepers is that their skin is evolved to grow a fungus and when the creeper is frightened it releases a toxic glue through the skin which causes the fungus to combust

In the first myth, you know how illigers capture allays? Well I think I figured it out. In the new updates, Mojang renewed the texture of vexs. I think, the pilligers capture allays (I MEAN the pilligers) to transform them into vexs. I think this because the vexs texture now looks VERY similar to allays.

I'm currently theorizing a story on what happened to the Illagers, Villagers, and Ancient Builders, but I can answer a few questions. I think the Elytras are made of Chorus Fiber and Phantom Membrane. However, you as a human do not have the ability to synthesize Chorus Fiber. The Elytras were built for humanoid users (presumably the Ancient Builders). I think the Endermen are Villagers who were corrupted by the Deep Dark (long story). I also think the Dragon Egg is in some form of permanent stasis and is awaiting the delivery of a vital enzyme to hatch, however this enzyme is unknown and currently unharvestable. The egg also teleports to avoid being damaged.

I think the Pilliger origins lore was already shown in Minecraft Legends ? In the game do see there are 2 Villigers type , one with normal skin and one with grey . When the Piglins invasion happens , the grey villagers has been tired of running away , instead they gather all weapons from defeated piglins and tell " The Hosts " That they want violence , which of course the normal villager didnt like it so they both have argue which of coursed brought us to pillager

when i was visiting a younger school to tell them about high school, i saw small kids(presumably primary 2) playing an old version of the game. they were looking at the skins, one of which was herobrine. i heard one of them yell "HERO BRIAN!?!?" also the version they were playing has five nights at winstons characters(a popular game at my school), pretty cool!

If I remember correctly, the name Steve just comes down to someone asking Notch on Twitter what the players name was, and Notch responding, "I dunno... Steve?" And it just sort of stuck since then.

Error 422 is a creepypasta, and this is kind of why it was created; So, Notch and his group wanted to create a snapshot, and they began working on it. They made an A.I. to run the whole system, which lead to disaster. The people say, "The A.I. grew a mind of it's own, and it's unstoppable!" Which lead Notch deleting it.
