23 Minutes Of Auto Detailing ASMR - BMW E36 Foam Wash

You guys wanted a complete ASMR wash process, so we made it! In This video we go over an extremely thorough exterior wash and decontamination of this 1994 BMW E36. No music so you can enjoy all the satisfying sounds of this detail. The has never been winter driven and is in great physical shape, all it needed was a deep foam wash in order to prep it for paint correction. In coming videos we will completely restore the paint of the BMW E36 to as close to a showroom finish as possible. I hope you can enjoy the sights and sounds of this ASMR detailing video! Very tidy E36! Rare to find an example with no obvious signs of rust! I think it has probably been used only as a summer car which has preserved it very well. I love that very 90's dark green colour. Definitely a keeper, even if it is only a 318. Rust has sent so many of these to their grave thats why they are now appreciating in value.

You should probably do your pre-wash and wash before using the brush to detail the badges because you're scratching the paint with any contamination in the paint.

@@ChromaticGarage Still a good idea, you gotta build good habits. In detailing you aren't judged by the finished product, rather the amount of mistakes you make along the way.

Yeah, 'bout the brushes; My two cents are that by brushing every panelgap/trimpiece, the car is defacto 20% cleaned with a brush, wich is at the far end of a detailers washmethodspectrum for the whole car, but as other KZbin-Detailers, the smaller brush is somehow not bad, as we see there is no problem going over the middle of the hood between air vents like it's nothing. However, this wasn't a maintenance type wash rather more a prepolishing wash in wich case I believe it's more okay using brushes on painted surfaces. Try maintenance washing a car with glossy black rims ten times with brushes and you will go back using a microfibre type-tool for the job. Sure, it gets clean but, at what cost?
