Boston green is a make or break color for the E36. If its not maintained well it makes the car look very bad. You really pulled out the max out of this color. I would have loved to see a walkaround in direct sunlight. Must be stunning in person.

@@swoqz2526 for best results id advise a de-tar 1st then clay bar. He used 3000 grit wet sand paper. But I'd only do this if you really know what you're doing you could mess up your paint if you're not careful.

@@tomatoknuckles i was thinking of only doing a cutting compound and then a polish and finishing with a ceramic coat my paint doesn't have any deep scratches just really oxidized and little scratches from washing. Do you recommend?

This level of attention to detail is exactly why I love this channel so much. Absolutely amazing work my dude 🙏🏼 wish I could see this in person because I already know it looks 20x better IRL 😍 keep up the awesome work man, and I can’t wait to see more 🙌🏼

Top work on restoring this car it is a thing of beauty! I’m now a fan of the Boston Green with the BBS wheels. You don’t need to have M3 convertible if you’ve done the subtle mods such as what you’ve carried out! I have F36 Gran Coupe even I’m jealous of this car! Haha! Top work well done!

I run a shop, detail all day, then come watch you bang out a killer video and chase some boo-boos. Not very many ASMR videos out there like yours. Exquisite detailing entertainment. Advice for you -- look into the Flex PXE-80 cordless. 1", 2", 3" options with enough power to do what's needed in those tight areas. Rotary + DA. Better than the iBrid in many ways. The 2" backing plate and extension arm have to be purchased separately, third party, but I don't know what I'd do without it. Anyways, keep it up, my friend!

I'd probably mount some strut bars and bracing to make it stiffer, because otherwise coilovers and big rims could make the body flex a bit too much

Thank you Giannis! Appreciate it. The paper is 3M 3K Trizac. It’s foam backed and is very easy to work with

Hi, great video, I am impressed with the technique applied when wet sanding. How did you do it? By hand in lines with a 50% overlap and small strokes? Is that better than the rotary? Thanks

Missing my e36 Ac schnitzer, after seeing this video. Can you explain what the benefit is of sanding this, seemingly decent, paint? Seems like a extra step. Why not just heavy compound? And/or just sand defects.

Thanks for watching Theo! So this car has been resprayed in different areas so I’m not entirely sure how much clear is remaining. Sanding like this is an easier way to remove more defects without having to compound longer! Decreasing heat and the possibility of blowouts

Ich erfreue mich jedesmal wenn ich deine Videos schaue. Sie sind gut gemacht und sehr angenehmen zu sehen. Außerdem finde ich es fabelhaft, dass ihr dem E36 genauso viel Respekt und liebe zollt wie wir in Deutschland. Mach weiter so mit deinen Videos und habe jede Sekunde Spaß an deinem E36 Cabrio. Was hältst du davon die matten Plastik zierleisten auch in Wagenfarbe zu lackieren? Deine Meinung dazu würde mich interessieren.
