A beautiful house for one. I saw a video of a couple who decided to each have their own tiny home and put them side-by-side with a common outdoor area between, and it was a fantastic idea that I so wish my husband and I could do.

Love this! One thing I’d do differently is the laundry- as always. If you don’t feel the need for a utility sink, then I’d do side-by-side washer and dryer with a folding table overtop. If you did want a utility sink then I’d do a stackable washer and dryer and a fold-down folding table on one of the two walls in front of the sink.

I love this little house. I think I would make the dining table flip up to get it out of the way, maybe as part of a wall storage system. There are adjustable/multifunction furniture designs that would be perfect in these lovely little houses that I would totally look into. ❤

If builder and/or city planners would realize how there is such a need from seniors and single career people for these small homes. Would much rather have this small home than a senior condo. Fees so high . We need to start thinking out of the box for new neighbors. They must be built affordable

This house has several super features: The high-sloped peaked roof is very important for looks. I can't stand a flat or low roof The little porch is perfect. The fireplace is great. The bathroom is super. Love the spare design. Features I would change: the kitchen sink MUST go in front of the window!!! I would feel that I was working in an elevator at that sink. There must be a sofa in the living room. The bedroom is too small. There has to be room on both sides of the bed to make it without straining your back or neck or arms.

I agree with all you said with one addition: that kitchen sink that is moving to a window? Also, it must be a Farmhouse Sink. Small, shallow, narrow sinks are useless to me. I want one I can get lost in.💟 I need to figure out how to make these IDEAS become a buildable plan, in case my money happened to become my money? I can't think of a better way to use trust funds than to secure one's own housing, which can never be taken away or used as prize or punishment, and is much less expensive than rent near my current Home Pin... In case anyone from anywhere is shadowing my accounts to see if I trip myself up (pssst. I don't. I'm not playing or pretending or making up truth. 🙅🏼‍♀️ ❌🙋🏼‍♀️❤️ Have a nice day!) So...plans possibly available in the future? I subscribe, so if things work out on my end, I'll DM you with the question and you can decide then...does that work or will the answer always be NOOOO? The roof on the front sitting porch is going to give some trouble later, bc it's totally flat & a flow back into the under eve of the house can occur! It would be best to have a slight slope to the roof & have gutters on the edge of the main roof! It will save you from having leaks when it rains, later on!

Not that you need any more suggestions, but... I'd put two transom windows on the wall the bed is on, just for some cross ventilation (and because I'm a smidge claustrophobic-haha). Love this house and I've seen alot of the ones you've done!

I love how the top comment always comes from like an injured horder , who remarks about how "steep" the stairs are or what a " minimalist" one would need to be😂 as opposed to what like someone who had just broken both legs? a family of four with five dogs? Obviously tiny houses are a lifestyle choice, and the person who chooses one is someone who is uniquely drawn to such a lifestyle. I for one would absolutely love to live in one.

Never build a fireplace on the outside of a house. They are meant to radiate and therefore belong centralized. Why do you open the refrigerator by standing in the diningroom instead of the kitchen? I like that it doesn't feel boxy inside. Nice!

A good house for a single. I'm not keen on entering directly into the kitchen. With so little living room space I'd eliminate the fireplace, and a freestanding tub with shower is impractical, but those are just details.
