Does your radio turn off when you turn the engine off and open the door? Mine does not. My dealer says GM is working on a fix.

Getting my Glacier Blue ZR2 in a week or so. It's a replacement for a 23 trail boss that was a lemon so GM is taking care of me. Can't wait to start doing mods. Shhhhh....don't tell the wife! Living in Phoenix I am close to good desert trails.

Do you know what Brand & Size of rear differential GM put in these 23-24 Canyon & Colorado? Looking to find & install an after market rear differential cover with drain plug to make service - fast/easy - With my 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X.

@klforrest573 I have not found a diff cover yet. But they come off easy and the gasket us reusable

@@barryguffey8061 yeah it’s tough to find a rear end cover when no one knows exactly what rear end is being used. Some say it is AAM - I have made the effort to contact them two or three times with no reply. Imagine that in today’s world. I spent a month emailing back-and-forth with PPE - giving them measurements and pictures but no luck they have no idea either.

The measurements I took are really close to the GM 8.5” but can’t be 100% for sure. Probably just need to buy a gasket for a 8.5 inch and remove the cover and see if this gasket is the same measurement as the OEM gasket for the canyon in Colorado.

All of my trucks in the past have had aftermarket rear differential covers with a drain plug so I’ve been kind of spoiled with servicing the rear diff has only taken 10 to 15 minutes instead of an hour or two with removing the whole cover. If I was only keeping this truck for 4 to 5 years, I would probably just do five oil changes and change the air filter a couple times and not worry about anything else . But this truck is going to take me into retirement. I have plans on keeping it 10 to 15 years at least so I wanna make all the services as quick and painless as possible.

You don’t have to do an alignment after installing the tie rod sleeves if you’re smart. If it takes 16 turns to take the tie rod end off, then do 16 turns to put it back on. It’s not rocket science.

Love the channel, love you, but please make sure you put a jack stand for extra safety. Those hydraulics can fail or not be locked out all the way or family can bump it. Takes seconds to save a lifetime of regret. And yes, I see your tire for safety, but you need more to prevent injury. Again, only reaching out because I care about you, not trying to be an internet harasser and tell you what to do.
