Why Chevy didn’t put 35s on this truck from the factory is beyond me… I’ll watch your ownership with this one! I’m looking to get one but having to put aftermarket stuff to put 35s is a little turnoff for me especially for the price. Both Chevy and Toyota are asking Raptor price but they’re like “we want to ask for Raptor money but we don’t really want to compete with the Raptor 😂”

Yeah it's wild man. The Peak Suspension stuff is pretty affordable IMO. I did 35's BFG KM3's, went down a size on the wheel and did a 17 Method 701 Bead Grip, and Dirt King UCA's with a 2" shock spacer. Then the rear I did a Peak 3" block instead of the factory 2" along with a custom Deaver Leaf pack since I wanted to get my clearance with more travel with the weight I'm running. In hind sight I wouldn't have gone with the offset I have for my wheels but I'm stuck with it for now which is fine, only because I'm rubbing a bit even after clearancing with the lift.

KO2s are my go-to for my adventure 4Runner! They get me through everything I throw at them (which is a lot!). I use them religiously, which annoys my fiance😂. I have never felt a need for mud terrains. My fiancé is currently trying to decide between the ZR2 or Sierra AT4X. I love the ZR2, but trying not to sway his decision lol. We use trucks for their intended purpose! The ZR2 has more stock bash plate protection, so I like that. It will be our first American vehicle lol Nice truck!

@vin99765 ай бұрын
Dude...Tundras are currently in the shop for MONTHS due to that smaller engine entirely failing. Buddy tried to trade his in and dealer wouldn't take it. Bizarre. Toyota still isn't entirely sure why per there "it's believed to be debris". Lexus Engines made in Japan and the Alabama engines made here both having that same total engine failure approx 30k miles. It's on 2024's too. Recall is only the legal "safety" stuff, but that engine has a serious issue and it could easily be a design issue at this point. Considering they studied it in 2021/2022 and still had large engine failure in 2022/2023/2024 models that's no small thing. I know 2024's aren't in recall but that's just a matter of time, there are currently 2024 models undergoing full engine repairs awaiting Toyota's fix which hasn't been released yet until July. These Tundra's aren't the same as a Japanese Built 4Runner with a V8 sorta reliability. That's a bit different than having a few things needing fixed here and there. 2021 and previous tho...those Tundras were pretty awesome tho. Still are.

These look great, but the stock tires looked pretty okay, yeah I know, too much wheel well and no white letter,...and I would think these assuming (35 vs 33) changed your effective final drive / rear end ratio (Speedo change too, are you recalibrating or do the computers do that these days anyway, like internal ABS settings Etc? That said, gearing is gearing..) Now you have less rear end than you did before, like going from a 4:11 to a 3:89 or a 3:89 to a 3.73, etc.., ie less grunt for any given circumstance, if you're okay with that. I'm sure you have, but there's so many out there that don't think of this stuff. You made a very good snow comment, but then disregarded your own observation..... and regardless of looks, why would you go with a lesser snow performance heading into winter in Colorado? I was also going to say regarding comparing the looks, the 35s that are on the vehicle now are compressed, so they would look closer to the empty 33s than they normally would apples-to-apples. Not trying to be a Negative Nancy here, just questions! All that said, they do look great! And a (relatively) cheap lift! I may be in the minority here, but I would stop here, lift wise.
