From the report it seems very little if any prolonged bench running / testing up to max rpm was done on the engines by the manufacturer before delivery which may have identified the fuel line design flaws. Poor practice in my book.

Yes, with a diesel engine. trial has now finished due to the recent engine fire on the unit.

My autie being vsit before London over 5 years ago. Now this, new train for the country... What disposed be electric railway normal NOT diesel petrol. Why they change operating to diesel petrol?! It's start the test gone wrong! Shame.
