Really enjoyed this! I have had a k2. And camped on inchmoan years ago, have visited wallaby island a few times too. But never solo camped, it looks so relaxing. One day!!

It’s great when there’s no midges about you can just enjoy your time on the Loch it’s a place where I spent many many years ago fishing and camping and just enjoying life like your doing so stay safe 🙏👍🏴

Brilliant video, just good escapism watching you out there having a good time. I’ve just moved out to falkirk from Edinburgh we have the canal to the back of us so hoping to get a canoe and give it a shot. Just spent the week travelling up through the highlands and over to Skye, forget how gorgeous the country is but definitely inspired to get out there more.

@@AndrewParkOutdoors Yes, well that depends on how long you paddle for and if you paddling against the current. I've been on some yak trips where I could barely lift my arms the next day the paddle was so long and tough. (Not fun when that happens) But most of the time it's just a leisure yak for me, that's much more my speed. LOL!

I use a two-man inflatable myself for camping but I don't have scenery like that, unfortunately. I purchased a 4X3 metre UniGear tarp recently so that I can sleep in the boat itself instead of taking a tent. My Exped mat can fit inside my kayak with the side walls slightly deflated and it makes for. very comfy sleep indeed.

Thats a good idea, did think about using it as a shelter but you've got that much room and don't have to worry about weight so brought everything but the kitchen sink :-)

Swap you a decent Kayak for that Tent Andrew ? Lol , but a lovely spot to chill out, 6 planets visible at this time of year , the blue ones are Uranus, appears around dusk, Neptune an hour before, Uranus is light blue Neptune is a darker blue.. Thanks for sharing ATB.

Can’t be certain, as I am no expert, but I think it is Venus, Andrew. It is known as the Evening Star. It appears as the sun begins to set towards the south-west.

They are Julian , hence they get quite busy in the summer but much quieter now the permit season is over.

Hi Ian, it's a palm Aleutian cag coupled with a Chinese brand dry trousers set up that I bought a decade ago or more, ( cheap but work fine ) !
