@@nichirenbuddhismandsokaphi2977 Had a rough spell. It’s ridiculous really. When I struggle to chant abundantly, all I do is think about how I’m not chanting abundantly. And, though I want to, I can’t blame a dang thing but my own mind. Still read and studied and have received abundant benefit in spite of my little lapses of perfect imperfection. I think of you often, good friend, and listen to you when I’m searching. Much loving kindness to you. My District is growing by leaps and bounds with youth! Haven’t a clue what I’m doing as Women’s District Leader, so I go to gohonzon often. Successors!

@@shirleyniedzwiecki1104 LOL! Nobody I know personally, is always on. Of course you have to fight through! That's why coming out on the other side victorious is referred to as victory. Overcoming your lesser self is baked in with all the karma of all the moments when you needed to act and did not. We are all the same. I used to always say to people, "The Gohonzon's mercy is infinite!" The true reality IS imperfect perfection. "Absolute myo" is "absolute myo". I finally decided for myself that if the Gohonzon could accept my imperfection, then I should to. I should embrace it and kick some devil ass; be the Buddha, fight each day to be as much as I am able to. If you can do that to the best of your ability, I think you're good. Hugs! Tom

Great lecture, quite a lot of info to ingest and digest! You've always given great lectures. I tune in, then tune out for months at a time. (Used to go by "Orgullo Cubano" on KZbin)

The commitment is to the last moment of your life. You have time to perfect it. Never stop that endeavor and you are handled. I promise.
