early 50's Chevy's had this engine as the deluxe also there is a 216. was this the one that had the "Blue Flame" emblem painted on the rocker arm cover?

hello sir what is that round thing mounted behinde the intake system? is that blow by gas canister? and whats up with that distributor he advances him self right does those distributors can be found aftermarket and do they fit for other engines?

brian buehler it’s the vacuum advance advancing the spark. It usually hits full advancement when it’s around 1200-1500 rpm

Sticking valves. One container of Rislone in crankcase will clean them up

235s have diff firing orders depending on early or late cast. My 61 chev car is different than my 56 truck 235.
