Thank you for all that you do DD! I had my draft and I think I faded goalies a bit too much and I failed to get that last G1. 10 team category league I got Kuemper and Daccord. But the rest of my team is Matthews, Kaprizov, Q. Hughes, Point, Dahlin, Robertson, Kempe, Meier, Hamilton, Barzal, Fiala, Boldy.

Great strategy, it worked well for me last year. 👍 You should look into getting a pop filter or changing the angle of your microphone. The "P" words were making my work van speakers crackle.

im drafting 15/16 24 rounds. sandwiched between two teams that traded between each other 5 times last season. eventually my do not draft list weeds out the do draft list. of the scrubs.i will be digging pretty deep in the crap around the 15th round. i see kernels of corn in there after 229. gohabsgo

One problem with looking at playoff schedule, is with injuries and disappointing picks, the odds of those late round picks ever making it thru to the final week are very low

Yeah it's mostly aimed at mid round picks. You're picking your top 2 rounds regardless of schedule and the late guys won't necessarily be on your team but those 4th-10th round guys it could help a little

Ignore the ignore rookie advice. Lane Hutson isnt a normal rookie. There's sarcity mindset for one in leagues. Celebrini as a center even at 60points isnt worth it to draft. Too many good centers but 50 point defenceman are rare. Hutson will be a perfect boom or bust player with top5 points upside as a D. If you are drafting guys that will just sit on your bench like Theodore, go for Hutson in rounds 10-12 in 12TM leagues. You'll get him at value. Habs players are already texting reporters that he's winning the Calder. Friedman confirmed this! Hell, watch the games, not everything is an algorithm.. how many players can make that saucer pass he made that went viral during a 1 minute shift while skating forwards in traffic?!? Nobody. Best defensive offensive upside in a very long time. He makes every player so much better.

Yet you could have found both Luke Hughes and Brock Faber last year on the waver wire in a 12-14 team league.. I love Hutson and I see what you see. I'm mainly trying to get people not to take rookies in the top 150 picks or so because that doesn't usually work out and you don't end up holding that player all year

My league weighs D scoring heavily. So if Makar scores, it's 3 points +1 just for being a dman. Can u edit that point category in on your scatter plot? Just signed up the other day! Thanks!

At this point I can't but if you export to excel you can filter by D, then for each d man add their total point value + whatever is in the cell that contains their 3 Year avg point total, that should do the trick

@@alexrobichaud236 Our draft, over 10 Gs had been drafted by round 3. And I faded so be cautious. I got a really bad set but my skaters are fantasy monsters and hopefully someone will take over a starter spot and I might be able to catch that guy off of waivers.

Most if not all of the fantasy hockey content is geared towards 12-team leagues. But the ADPs stay the same no matter how many teams there are in your league...I think the biggest challenge with bigger leagues is when to go for goalies. I mostly join into 20-team leagues because most variance -> more chaos -> more fun!

Last year I did 3 elite PP Dmen in the first 6 rounds: Josi, Dahlin, and Bouchard. Absolutely killed it all year. The 2 to 3 elite dmen strategy is one I'm using forever more 🫡

It was much easier to get bouchard last year since he wasn't proven yet. I had Dahlin and Bouchard too. I don't expect the draft to go the same way after his production last year.
