Yes, because Gus and the other bums are consistently awful. When Gus overskated that lobbed puck on the PK…Facepalm. All he needed to do was stand there and let it come to him, and then clear it. He’s too neurotic, defensemen can’t play like that. Leads to way too many mistakes.

Exactly, on paper, this team looks amazing... half the season, inconsistent everything, just not looking like a cohesive team. 5 games later, it's a whole different team! Same players, different lines, different defensive posture... I'm talking to you PK Unit... a completely different team... this looks like the team on paper! Let's go Detroit! My issue is that Lalonde should not have even come back for this year. The Wings could have made this change earlier. Yzerman got the players correct for the right coach but did not have the right coach. Timing is everything in this situation.

I started second guessing myself, but I swore this team was a playoff team before the season started. It’s a good roster but the half assed effort with Lalonde was damning 😭

We don't have an "awful roster" but its not great either. Our biggest weakness is our defensive core. Yzerman knows this, this is why he tried to trade for Trouba from the NY Rangers. I expect he will make a move for our back end.

@ it’s definitely not great, but they have played much better with the coaching change, and Petry injury. It’s really the bottom 2 that need an upgrade next year. 3 of our 6 are real young too, so we have that going for us.

This team looks very good under Todd. Kaner, Cat, Seider, and Raymond are all playing some of the best hockey in the league right now. Best I’ve seen this team play in a long time. Same team, same players, same management team, different coach/approach. Same doubters. Same positive comments when they win. Same salary cap parity league with Detroit basically the same as 20 other teams. Albert J cannot handle a team like the Jets. Coach doing a good job managing Petry's and Holl's playing time. If Larkin can shoot and hit the top of the net he scores 50 this year! He is winning key faceoffs. Jets trying for the top of the net is why the score goals, likely the posts helped Lyon. I think they played a more calming game like last night that means less penalties. The ref always changes the game, if the Wings didn't get the first penalty the Jets would have probably only had 5 shots in the first period. The ref calls a penalty near end of game. I look forward to watching every Wings game win or lose. Go Wings Go!

In boarding, one player is pushed into the boards and the one who hit him doesn't, causing separation. In this case, it was a legal check into the boards because the hitter went into the boards with the target player.

It's the act of entering some sort of vessel, like a boat or airplane. Or, when some douchebag player from the other team smashes your guy into the boards FACE FIRST. The chance of injury is very high.
