I LOVE Cinda Chima and that's my favorite one of her series. She doesn't get the love on BookTube that she deserves, mostly because a lot of her books pre-date the popularity of BookTube. I just did a reread this year of the series you were showing, only I did the audiobooks this time. There's a whole sequel series as well. All her stuff is good. I've known her for years - she is also just a super nice person. She just started a new series that's Norse mythology based. She even went to Norway to do research! The first book in the series ended up in a book box with a special edition.

The fifth All Souls book (that was just announced) is The Blackbird Oracle. Both Time's Convert (book 4) and The Blackbird Oracle follow events that take place after the Ashmole 782 story arc is wrapped up. Shadow of Night is very history heavy but it does show a bit of court life at that time which you might enjoy despite the slower bits.

I just found the remnant chronicles at my local used book store. I had taken that series off my TBR after not getting to it for so long and I felt like finding those books was a sign to read it haha. I actually read the Dance of Thieves duology first, not realizing their connected but at least I know I love Mary Pearson's writing!

Remnant Chronicles! Still holds up and has fully earned its spot on my absolute favorites. 😍 Yeah sometimes it feels less scary to pick up a series I’m unsure if I’ll love than one I’m convinced will be my next obsession. Make it make sense 😅

When I saw you wanted to try and read so much hauled verse your owned tbr, I immediately thought of Drinking By My Shelf, she used to, I don't know about now, do a thing on her channel where she would balance her books, and would have to unhaul a book if she did not balance her books. When I first found those videos, I remember binge watching through them. So you can defiantly do something similar.

sometimes sequels are the hardest though, because if the first book wasn't amazing it feels demotivating when there's so many more reading options available. It feels like voluntarily wasting time

What a great list! Shadow of Night was actually my favorite of the original All Souls Trilogy. I listened to the audiobooks for all of them, and the narrator is amazing! Highly recommend. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I never was never a reader until some time this year when I wanted to start something new so I picked up reading. In doing so I'd went on a spending spree. After seeing my haul I was thinking I might have went overboard on the spending. It's good to know that I don't have to read them all now after spending so much money but I am quite excited to jump into them when the time comes.

The Locked Tomb series is def on my tbr for 2024! I loved Gideon and really want to reread it and continue the series. I am also planning on rereading the whole red rising series cause the final book is hopefully coming out in 2024!

my books read goal next year is 75 which is the biggest it’s ever been so to give myself a little guide, my “24 in 2024” ended up with 3rds in series that i haven’t started, the 6th in a series where you have to read another series first, etc. it ended up being 44 books total 😅

Age of Madness by Abercrombie is easily in my top series of all time! It was way better than the first trilogy for me, even though I've already liked the first one!

I have the same problem with duologies. I am in the middle of so many of them. The things is that they are all 3 or 3.5 stars and if they were trilogies, i would just DnF the serie but since I have only 1 book to complete the serie, I feel like I should read it but do not pick it up.
