Syngas is not produced by Carbon Di Oxide but rather Carbon mono oxide. CO2 + H2. Rather it is CO + H2.

Hydrogen is only explosive when it is in the form of HHO but if hydrogen is separate and stand alone and not in access to oxygen it is not possible for hydrogen to catch fire and storing hydrogen at high pressure is only required when you want to use it in a car (because you need to save space) but in case of stationary usage (such as a home) it is ok to keep it at the level of biogas like pressure

In India most of the regions are not that cold and hence the 60% energy may get wasted, that could have been used for heating the homes as you mentioned. So practically this doesn't seem to be a feasible solution currently unless they change the efficiency of these panels and Hydrogen Cells associated.

True but converting Hydrogen to electricity generates lots of heat which if not used will go wasted thats the reason its very useful for colder regions

It doesn't make sense in my part of the world where you can sell excess energy to Government and then can use the government supplied energy whenever needed. So basically u don't have to store the energy. Just sell it when it's in excess and buy it when you have less production or no production.

I dont think this method will work because energy per unit by these panels will be way more costly than other ways of energy capture methods in market. There are several other reasons as well A) Gas generation will be very slow. B) The gas pressure will be extremely less to safely store it. Hydrogen storage itself is a big challange. C) It is required to have more moisture in the air. This weather condition means more clouds and possibly rain thus less sun shine. How will solar panel work effectively in such cloudy weather condition D) Use of precious material for anode and cathode makes it a costly affair. Earth has extremely less amount of Iridium and Platinum. These panels would require an array of anode and cathode. E) Energy per unit by these panels is way more costly than other ways of energy capture methods. Overall, this method cannot shape and contribute our current and future energy demands.
