An important source of magnesium and other minerals is the water that you drink (and use for cooking). And you can easily influence that. Ask your water company or test the water from the tap. If it's not good, then buy mineral water (check the labels). It should be around 50 mg/liter. It's a much easier solution than going on a special diet.

I am just coming to that conclusion myself. I have 3 of the symptoms I am joining to talk to my doctor, letting him know that I need magnesium.I have been researching this listening to these UTubers.I think one of my medications affects my absorption of Magnesium. I got a spray from my daughter. I use it whenever my fingers move involuntarily. I mentioned it to my MD he did not seem to take me seriously .This upcoming physical, he is definitely going to listen. Thanks for the information it was very helpful.
@DiTuroProductions
@DiTuroProductions Жыл бұрын
Your doctor or pharmacist can tell you if a medication interference with magnesium absorption. Your doctor can order a blood test to check blood magnesium levels if he/she suspects a deficiency. You do not need your doctor to approve increasing dietary magnesium to see if it helps prevent your symptoms.

As you know, cooking and/or choosing your meals carefully is not easy for most people. A supplement or drug that can boost Magnesium content in our bodies would be an easier solution. Any recommendations? Thanks.
@DiTuroProductions
@DiTuroProductions 3 жыл бұрын
It used to be very easy until people choose to replace home cooked meals with prepared foods. Many prepared foods have more synthetic ingredients than natural ingredients. Supplements can prevent serious diseases but they do not provide the nutrients and health benefits of minimally processed foods.
@AmandeanNaturalProducts
@AmandeanNaturalProducts Жыл бұрын
When it comes to magnesium absorption, the most important thing is choosing a magnesium supplement that offers high bioavailability, such as Magnesium L-Theornate. This magnesium form has been found to successfully pass the blood-brain barrier, granting high absorption rates. Of course, eating a balanced diet rich in foods that enhance magnesium levels is always a plus, and these foods include pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, almonds, spinach, cashews, soymilk, peanuts, and rolled oats.

I’ve tried all the magnesium supplements. The one that works for me is Remag magnesium miracle. I take 1/2 of a teaspoon in orange juice and bam. I’m good.

Supplements are an option for people not getting enough magnesium from foods as long as the supplemental magnesium does not exceed the tolerable upper limit of 350 mg.

What they do not tell you is unless you grow your own food all the ones you buy are grown with chemicals.

Organic foods are grown without synthetic chemicals. Even some home grown foods are grown using natural or synthetic pesticides. People who grow there own foods have more control.

@@DiTuroProductions all it takes to be considered “organic “ here is one element alone to be considered organic. So technically if it is grown with distilled water. That can make it considered organic! You really need to know the laws in Texas. For instance you can get a ticket for taking your seat belt off to pay for your drive thru food if the officer wants to be “to the letter of the law “.

Raisins have a lot more magnesium than all these vergies in the video
@DiTuroProductions

According to my sources, an ounce (28 g) of almonds has 10 times the magnesium in an ounce of raisins 80 versus 8 mg. Raisins are an excellent source of potassium; 235 mg per ounce.

It is easier weighing a food before cooking than after especially if other ingredients or sauces are added. Just like a quarter pound hamburger patty or 6-ounce steak are precooked weights. Thank you for asking.

There were a ton of other items on this list, like salmon, tuna avocado, kale, spinach, chia seeds, and peanuts. I could make a salad with these plus hard boiled eggs, cucumber, tomato, sweet pepper. For breakfast right now I'm making soft boiled eggs, lox (salmon), avocado, tomato, and cheese. I'm already going to eat two items from this list with the lox and avocado.

Many people eat raw meat like steak tartare. Unless you buy all your beef precooked, it is easier using raw weights instead of cooked weights.

The value is for the precooked weight just like restaurants list precooked weights on their menus. The weight after cooking will vary depending in how long the steak is cooked.

If it is U.S. raised beef, I'd recommend cooking it. The raw weight is for convenience since cooked weight depends on how long it is cooked.
