The driver said that he didn't know where the Vinpearl resort was , which makes sense because they're a local service and local people don't usually take this bus to beachside resorts. Didn't seem like he was treating you badly on purpose.

I thought the same thing, happened in Thailand in my van. A lot of the tourists didn't have data to show location and kept saying their hotel names like the Thai driver would all of a sudden know English. You have to be prepared when you're paying $10 for a two hour ride.

Da Nang used to have the American military base there. They loved the beach near their base. Da Nang also was the first place when the French arrived in Vietnam 🇻🇳 in the 19th century. Da Nang today is the city that expats preference. Have fun and enjoy !

In the future, if you can go to Danang one more time, I think you should visit Marble mountain again. At Marble mountain, Linh Ung pagoda is the oldest pagoda in Danang, you can go up to visit Tam Thai pagoda and Huyen Khong cave. This cave is so wonderful. In this cave, the atmosphere is great, so fresh, so cool. Anyway, thank you for choosing to come to Danang. The next time, I hope you can spend more time to visit more places. I live in the South of Vietnam, I have been to Da Nang 04 times and I am very satisfied, I recommend you to go to Hoi An, which is only about 30km from Da Nang but very beautiful, and there is also a wonderful Vinpearl Hoi An, ... .have a nice trip. Best regards

If something happen to you from driver, you can take some picture of the plate number, name of company, driver and make a call to his company or police to tell them the true. Sure that, there are alot of people who’ll help you. Good luck!

I think that bus driver dropping you off next to a bunch of taxis is a bit of a scam. He gets a bit of cash from the taxi drivers for doing so. Used to happen in Thailand years ago but less so today. Vietnam is amazing. Good luck!

Wait, was the limo van supposed to drop you off at your location but they just kicked you out and left you stranded? What the heck, man. Maybe they should have just added a couple of dollars to the fee and taken you there. And how annoying that what was supposed to be a kind gesture turned out to be one with ulterior motives with the motorcycle lady. How the heck are you supposed to take one of those huge marble statues home in your backpack? Sheesh.
