Great videos! I trekked to Everest Base Camp in 1997 and 2000. It was a lot different back then. No western toilets. Dorm style rooms high up and the Lukla airstrip was gravel just to name a few. Definitely want to go back one day and do the 3 pass trek with a side trip to base camp. Thanks

Awesome bunch of videos of your trek! Making an unexpected landing, then taking a bus 5 plus hours is so Nepal. Your guide is one of the main reasons that makes Nepal so special. He always seemed to have a positive attitude which makes things so much better when trekking.

I heard they're gonna be changing things next year and might not be allowing people to hike. So if you're gonna do it, might want to try to book this year. Or look into the changes at least.
