I've been to Kazakhstan for six summers straight and your video made me miss the beautiful country! You've got to take a 20 hr train ride from Almaty to the capital, Astana! The sun goes down at 11pm during the summer there!

Huge THANK YOU to Kara and Nate for highlighting Airport Lounges and how you don't have to fly First/Business Class to use them. For my recent trip, I used Dragon Pass, which was similar to Priority Pass but has an entrance fee instead of an annual fee, I accessed 2 lounges on my trip and it made it significantly better.

Great 24 hours - really enjoyed the video! The lake is beautiful and glad you took care of the Uber driver. The soup looked like Lagman. We just had a bowl of it the other night at an Uzbek restaurant near us.

You guys are awesome! I'm from Almaty and it was amazing to see my hometown through different eyes! Thank you! I hope you enjoyed your time in Almaty and welcome back! =) And the food which you were eating called "lagman" which is not our traditional food, it's uighur cuisine. But in our country people eat it very often.😊

You did really well for a 24 h stay there. And it was so worth it as well- what a beautiful place. Excellent drone footage! The lake was so beautiful 😍 Also, I’m pretty sure you were right to pronounce Almaty the way you initially wanted, because it’s written in Russian as Алматы and it’s not pronounced with and “a” at the end. Anyways.. a very good day in Kazakhstan and waiting impatiently now for the World Nomad games’ vlog. I love these frequent uploads lately! 👍

The cable car area looked such fun. Such a beautiful lake and mountainous area - wow you guys are such experienced travellers! If I had 24 hours to spend in a country that I've never been to before - I'd probably waste 3 hours finding my way out of the airport :-)
