Please let the hotel know what happened at afternoon tea. They pride themselves on a quality experience. If something like this happened they would want to know so it will not happen again. Some people do not want to complain but if you alert them to what happened it will prevent it from happening to someone else.

This made my day. Living in London had been my lifelong dream, and I move there sept 2019. Because of the pandemic, I could not enjoy the city before moving back to my country. So, these videos bring something home, this city, which is very close to my heart. Although not in central London, I 100% recommend that you visit Brockley/Crofton Park. There is a brunch spot called Crofton Park Café which is delicious and cheap, nothing super fancy but omg. The supermarket Jay Budgens make the besttttttt samosas that I've tried, and pair the best with a dessert from Sundae... these two to be enjoyed from the views from Blythe Hill Fields. Love this video! I usually stay in hostels but this hotel room looked fab for one person! The last time I was in London, I did not take nearly enough breaks, so sensory overload hit hard. With this hotel room, it would be so comfy to just come back once or twice throughout the day and take a little breather: a cup of tea, enjoy some food... I went to the Skygarden too and couldn't believe it's for free? Such a fun and calming activity, would 100% recommend. If I remember correctly, having a reservation is a must (even before Covid times) so definitely plan ahead.

I went to London for a few days in 2012 and loved it. I had a great time walking around and exploring the city. You could spend a day just going across all the different bridges and have a decent time.

I've stayed in that Premier inn hub hotel in the same type of room a few years ago, they might have just opened . It was really good even though there was no window. The darkness at all times is a bit odd but good if you need to rest at odd times. I like that it had the refreshment area in the lobby too. I'd stay there again.

Hey, you can usually leave your luggage at the hotel after you check out if you just ask. They typically have a little storage room or space to put it in the lobby. So you can just come back and pick it up when you are done with activities. I really enjoyed the video

Top tip Grace, if you have an early checkout then tell the person on the desk that you have a flight (probably not applicable at the moment) or train that's leaving a few hours after you're checking out and you don't know what to go if you had to check out at the actual time, and 90+% of the time they'll give you a free late checkout.

I love walking around London. My favorite is, if I have a couple hours ahead of me, I'll just walk around, giving myself a silly rule like : I can't walk on any main streets. And I just see where my feet take me ! I always end up finding cool places. I haven't been since 2019.
