Το 970 π.χ. ναυτικος απο την Ναξο εγκατασταθηκε στην περιοχη εκει και ονομασε την περιοχη κατω-ανω , οπως λενε την πλαγια στην Ναξο, ετσι εγινε Κατανια!!!!!!!!!!
