Jekyll Island is nice. I stayed at a house there for a week in 2008 when I got my mid tour leave during my 3rd deployment to Iraq. It was a tease though. 8 months in the desert, A week there, then back to the desert for another 8 months lol.

It's so crazy how different the gigging is down there than it is here in NC. I don't like oyster beds at all. I tend to do the best on open shoals with real clean bottom. I really like to see how different it is from state to state
