Already subscribed some months ago. Loved the karst mountain and river views, your candid coverage of roads and car hire as well as the eg: breakfast montage to expedite time - nothing worse than vloggers dragging the chain through mundane moments. What was the price per night of the luxury hotel room in Vang Vieng?
@josieliftsthings Жыл бұрын
@@soniacozens8638 First of all, thank you so much for subscribing! 😁🙏🏻 Second, I told Michael that this is my favourite video I have ever made, haha, from an editing view, I had a bit of extra time to edit this one (usually besides my Christmas break I upload 2-3 videos a week so I don’t have much time to really edit it the way I like or want to etc) and I really think this was my best work so far haha. So thank you so much for the compliment, it’s nice to get reassurance 😁 As for the price, I have no idea as Michael paid as a gift, but I’ll ask him for you when he gets back to the room 😂😁
@chittakone99 Жыл бұрын
Actually you take the shortcut but google make you confuse, so you turn back on the old road which is very damaged. 3-4 hours is the average time from vangvieng to Luangprabang. But the old way has its view, people will see what local people do. Hope you enjoy your trip. From local in luangprabang

What an adventure! Loved the countryside scenery. I felt some of those potholes. Vientiane looks amazing and to think you weren't going there- what a great surprise to see how beautiful it was and to discover all it had to offer. Great video- enjoyed it immensely! The road trip was definitely worth it - thanks for sharing!

Love every single part of this one. I know I’m bias but I see the work that goes in to what you do, and this video is 1000000% your best - ironic probably the least people will see it, because Laos just isn’t as popular 😂 but it’s 100% your best video yet and I can’t wait to look back on this one in the future. For everyone else’s benefit, I can drive a manual I just haven’t in a long time and the cars mirrored to what I’m used to 😂

I said it when I met my wife and then all through life till your video now. It should be mandatory to take your drivers exam in a standard shift vehicle. But still loved the adventure and video!! I remember the first time I was in Japan on the "Wrong" side. Took me about a week to get used to it!
@josieliftsthings Жыл бұрын
Hahaha my mother has told me the exact same thing 😂😂 which is why all of my cars and everything I drove was manual until my last car which I thought would be my future family car but then I sold it to come here overseas! Haha. He can drive a manual we haven’t driven any cars in over a year and the car is flipped, so you’re Changing gears with the opposite hand. I would’ve been confused too, not what I’m used to! We sit on the other side of the car in Australia and drive on the other side of the road 😂😄😅 Right! He did get used to it pretty quickly especially driving on a mountain I’ll give him that! 😂 So glad you liked the video! It is one of my favourites 😅😄
