Miss/Ibu, you are one special teacher.... Subscribed. Your little talk at the beginning of the video is simply an eye opener... Especially what you said about shedding the 'language sophistication' when needed.

So ber is like a possessive verb, and mem is like an acting verb. Strange that as Indonesian is an artificial/invented/non-emerged language that they made the me prefix so complicated! The easier the language the increase in adoption and literacy! But ah well! This was one of the best learning Indonesian videos I've found, so happy to see your others!
@learnbahasaindonesia3361 Жыл бұрын
Actually, prefix 'me' isn't fully newly invented. It is adopted from Javan language, and that language has evolved for a long time. You can survive Indonesian language without prefix me: Saya makan kue itu. --> correct. Saya memakan kue itu. --> better.
@HeruSupriyanto-c7h9 ай бұрын
Dalam bahasa Indonesia jarang terdengar kata MEMAKAN.
@ibukontraktor-taqwaproperty8 ай бұрын
@@HeruSupriyanto-c7h Betul. Because the word "makan" is already a verb, it is not necessary. The use of the prefix is different among cultures in Indonesia. Javan and some Sumatran cultures would be the heavier users of this prefix while Native Jakartan dan some other cultures would use less of it.
