pro tip, any monitor that doesnt have a one OD setting and its 240hz plus you can just turn off Adaptive setting. at those high refresh rates you wont see any lines. this is how i use this monitor.
@iamfrog6747

hmmm it can still feel stutterish and tearish at times I think a better solution is forcing the monitor to LFC at 120hz :) It isn't perfect but it's better than nothing To be able to ditch VRR completely with no artifacts to speak of we'd need much higher refresh rates. The Blur Buster's chief talks of a value around 4000hz

I really enjoy your reviews! This channel is by far the most informative and professional of the ones I used to watch to sustain my opinion and decide if the purchase was worth it or not, so thank you for the ammount of effort that you are putting on these videos! I would also like to ask if in a near future its possible to review the Gigabyte m27q-p. Many have said that its the best budget 1440p 170Hz monitor money can buy right now and I would love to know your opinion on this one.

You should review the NXEDG27240-x. It's an underrated monitor that's also 240hz at 1440p. I have it myself and have no conplaints. There was no problem with it on arrival and pixels weren't dead

don't forget the US people also pay 8% on top, that is not displayed in that price, that makes their total $450. If you instead add the VAT for Germany (19%), it comes out to $500, you add profit for the company, shipping, handling, etc and 550E is very realistic/comparable.

@RokerSMisisipi
@RokerSMisisipi Жыл бұрын
I was going buy this monitor based on it's great overall ratings on online stores and youtube videos reviews but then I got to read reviews from owners and decided against it. There is an overwhelming number of complaints regarding dead pixels, flicker, flash artifacts and overall bad quality control. I think for this price range the LG 27GP850-B takes the cake.
@tosemusername
@tosemusername Жыл бұрын
I'm sort of torn about it too, especially because I'd have to import it from the US since it's unavailable in local stores here in Brazil. Another thing I noticed is that the video seems to paint a darker picture of how the monitor performs compared to the review at RTINGS, especially regarding the motion handling, here demonstrated using the UFO test, there using their own logo. And the monitor needs quite a bit of setting up in order to achieve it's max potential. And that's a lot of if's.

Is the shift from 170hz to 240hz legitimately worth over a hundred dollars more? Everywhere I look says the difference between even 144hz and 240hz is almost imperceptible.
@alialkhafaji4238
@alialkhafaji4238 Жыл бұрын
it depends on what you plan on doing with it. For most people, the difference doesn't really matter but I see that pro gamers and people at high levels of competitive gameplay notice the gap a lot more and find it to be worth the price.
