Agreed, I'm from the 50's scene and love RnB from the 30's to the 60's, the first thing that struck me watching this was the amount of space around each dancer, but then they need it cos their all show-boating! All flash but very little living in the groove, that said the girl in the white/red Adidas t-shirt looks like she's having a ball! I realize it's a competition but I see very little verve. Check out on KZbin "FTM in the groove " lots of folk getting loose like a goose! Then go to "Eve Sear" she has lots of videos of her mate Toni Anne dancing! One of the best dancers on our scene!!

Ah the old rivalry is still there . They probably thought you were from Granada 😂🤣 It will have come from some budding researcher / ‘producer ‘ who they send out to do these short insert films for the show . They probably thought you were in the way of their handheld cameraman . To be honest if they had anything about them they should have asked to use your footage ( for a price ) and they would have had a second camera on the floor . I assume there was a locked off one on the balcony doing a wideshot . I did see him taking a shot of the compare so they really should have used you . I was enjoying what you did shoot and was glad you kept rolling in between songs . Really at that stage of the competition there was much more room enough for all parties . I’m sorry you didn’t get to finish and apart from that ... who won ? 😉
