Such a beautiful design, the third nacelle looks very sleek and almost seems like a 25th-century variant of the Excelsior-class warp nacelles. The smooth-looking and fused near-organic shape of the saucer looks wonderful, but the side view with the underslung third nacelle gives it an almost boat-like aesthetic as if she'd been designed more as a futuristic yacht. Until mentioned with the specs I thought the sensor pod was intended as a weapons platform, but it almost reminds me of an upgraded Defiant-class "nose" and gives the Aranda a beautiful and wwell-design appearance to make her seem like she could easily be a battle-ready science vessel (unlike the Nova or Oberth classes)

Very nice design, I LOVE the three nacelles and their placement that you've chosen. Also, having the defoector dish dead center of the primary makes sense and looks good too. I'm surprised you didn't include a secondary hull (more room = more science 😁), but I have to admit that I really like that you didn't include one. Gives the ship a sleeker profile and a nice streamlined look. 👍👍

Thank you for all your hard work and tireless effort to bring us top-notch trek entertainment! I lov your channel and have been a long time subscriber, but only recently managed to catch up with some of your more recent videos. Concerning the Aranda class: I really like this design and you captured the essence of the ships introduced in PIC season 3 quite nicely. If I may, I have a small thing I think could be improved: the way the forward deflector section could be more smooth, like it could blend into the rest of the ship a little better, maybe somewhat like on the NX-01. I do like long, sleek unbroken lines on my own trek designs (which I'd never dare to display publicly) and in this case I think it might suit this otherwise flawless ship. Thanks again for your work and for indulging my little rambling. LLAP.

Excellent ship design series! So excited to know space knowledges has been mixed galactic civilizations to brings our journey to long-run research. Trans-dimensional and warp speeds has mentioned by many starfleet members, who had indicated ship types and space development roadmaps. We still insists on space scientific vessels are vital to boosts our understanding to our galactic neighbors beyond the liner timeframe, looking forward to more scientific vessels joining the starfleets and upcoming process. I love this kitbash, well done!! So if I understood you correctly, the 3rd nacelle would be dedicated to the transwarp drive? If so, that would make a lot of sense and be less taxing on the primary nacelles.

Heyo, I love your videos and this ship is pretty neat. With that said, it gave me an epic comedy idea. A fan ship that sucks. A ship that was made and it just didn't work on epic levels. Have the video end with saying, even though the ship wasn't the fastest, or the toughest, or the most armed, and well also didn't have the greatest scanner, it did look cool and isn't that all that matters. Also have it not even look all that great. I mean have it look like a real starship etc but not super amazing or what not. The reason I think this is funny and please do not take this as a criticism because you aren't really as guilty of this as other people I have seen who do fan designs but fan designs ships tend to always be the best of the best. Most of the time better than anything we have seen on screen. Always reminds me of kids playing pretend and just trying to one up each other. Like I said this isn't really a criticism of you or even anyone. I would do the same type of thing on a few fan made ships if I put in tons of work in designing and making up a backstory. Also though in reality, some good stories could be done on screen or in books about a starfleet ship that is a prototype nx serial numbered ship that just wasn't great at all.

A) the Freedom Class of the 24th Century was a single nacelle design. B) The Freedom Class did not have a similar (or any) array such as that on the Aranda Class and C) The Freedom Class was not a Science Vessel... So again, Im not sure what you mean as there are NO connections between the 2...
