Fun fact shields don’t take any durability if your shield surfing on a path also if you used a normal bomb (the ones that make fire) you could have created updrafts in the grass idk how much that would help but it might have.

Glad you enjoyed! Well I spent like 2 hours getting korok seeds before recording this to make my shield inventory bigger. Then I spent like another hour getting shields and putting icy meat on them. But it only took like an hour and a half to complete the run. So like 4-5 hours if you don't count me just studying the map to find a good route lol

you could have made things a bit easier if you just duplicated your hylian shield two times and used the entire rest for bombs. since the hylian shield has by far the most durability in the game.

well I had no idea how many shields I would need before I started doing this. If I knew the Hylian shield would not break the entire way, I would have put bombs on everything else from the start haha

@@247MrNiceguy indeed. the hylian shield has 800 durability if i remember right, while normal shields have well under a hundred. a HUGE difference. as for the bombs, well the route you chose is quite convenient in terms of bombs needed being low, so you didn't really need to strategize each possible bomb slot as much. hmm... new challenge idea: start shield-sliding from death mountain top and see if you can get to the gerudo city or at least the oasis.
