LOL IKR. A huge part of his justification for saying Georgia would beat ND and then possibly win the whole title is that the team would rally around Gunner Stockton and there would be a “rise up” effect that would propel them to glory. Instead, they got outclassed and our coaches by Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame. That final score was way closer than what the game flow actually was too if you watched it. Seeing Kirby Smart freak out and have a tantrum to the referees while realizing they weren’t going to help him makeup two touchdowns in four minutes or hand him the game like SECHQ did with the awfully officiated and stolen Georgia Tech game was truly just as good as the best drugs you could possibly find- it was like nirvana. He was like the kid who got his TV privileges taken away from him in real-time. I don’t even care for either ND or Georgia, but it was beautiful to watch. Especially after that fourth down where ND drew Georgia offsides and stuck the dagger in LOL.

@@Black_CaucusYeah bro you are delusional. If anyone was freaking out over penalties, it was Freeman. first of all, UGA beat ND up and down the field. A fumble in the red zone, and the minute before and after halftime is what changed that game. ND won and that’s reality but you sitting here claiming as though ND whipped UGA up and down the field is insane. And outcoachee? bro, Marcus Freeman himself would tell you he couldn’t hold a candle to Kirby as a coach. He’s a damn good coach but you’re acting like one game somehow erases years of history. So is the NIU coach better than Marcus? I think not. Your ramblings just show how biased you are and how little you actually pay attention to football over the years. I’m a Buckeye fan, but saying the SEC is dead is just stupid. They are having a down year, but they are still an elite conference with the top recruiting base in the Country. I think with the transfer portal and NIL we will see much more parity across all of College football, but I think the SEC and the B1G remain at the top. With the changes in college football, I think it will be much harder to stay at top for multiple years because most players don’t want to wait and will transfer for money and playing time. However, ESPN does have an SEC agenda that I’m tired of. Best historical teams in the B1G: Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Penn State, Oregon, Washington, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan State. (10 teams) Several of these teams are not at their peak right now, bit over the past 30 years, all have been highly successful. Best historical teams in the SEC: Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee (7 teams, but the B1G has 2 more teams) I think the biggest difference is the “not historically great” teams of each conference. I think the bottom half of the SEC is muchstronger than the bottom half of the B1G with several teams like Ole Miss, Auburn and Texas A&M that keep swinging.

The portal will be a constant, but it is clear that quick turn arounds are not producing good football teams. Mainly from a discipline standpoint. The best teams will have vets. Within a few years the answer is parity! The B1G and SEC will support 5 playoff contenders per year, the ACC and Big12 will support 2 or 3 each and the middle and bottom of the B1G and SEC will look exactly the same. The middle of the SEC will take another step back (they already taken one). Simply put, the opportunities won’t support more than four teams in the playoff from one conference even if they go to 16.

Michigan defense is a top 15 unit, and would be higher if the offense wasn’t so inept. He lost to his rival 4 years in a row, needed a second head coach to come in and be his OC, and the most impactful players on his team are the ones who have been coached by him the least. His best players are either freshmen or transfers. I think Ohio State is the best team left in the playoff by a large margin, and I still wouldn’t be surprised if after all this he fails to get it done.

Especially Auburn. I actually felt goose bumps when that boy dropped that pass in the end zone and the fans exploded. You ain't finding that at Purdue or Northwestern bro. Ole Miss could compete with anyone besides OSU when they are on. Every game Day and Kelly wins in the playoffs show all the more how badly those two screwed the pooch this year against our rival. And it’s ok if you don’t get the significance of the rivalry, Josh (being a southern boy, and all), but when it comes to TTUN vs OSU, it just means more. Winning the Natty would be nice, no doubt, but it won’t erase the debacle that took place in Nov, the 4th loss in a row to TTUN and this time as 21 point favorites and loaded with talent. That was embarrassing and plain inexcusable. On the upside, it seems that Day and Kelly were able to retract their heads from their asses.

In what delusional world did OSU "outclass" Michigan in Columbus? Michigan had the better lines + the better defense overall. UM clearly had the better special teams, esp kicker. Better running back (Mullings). TEs, a draw. All OSU had was the better Qb and WR. That's 1/2 of 3 phases of the game. Who was outclassed here? The team that lost. For th 4th time in a row.

Kirby has never been the best, not even this year with Saban gone. Kirby would have ZERO national titles if Jamo, Metchie, and Harrison didn’t get hurt.

Wth?? He said ohio state doesn't rely on the portal, wtf?? They're starting quarterback. Came from the portal Caleb Downs. Their best defensive person came from. Alabama and Judkins came from all mess. They're running back. What a dumb comment
@clu6318 сағат бұрын
Getting 3 high-end players out of the portal isn’t “relying” on it. Florida State rely’s on it, Ohio State has perennial Top-5 recruiting classes. Might wanna delete YOUR dumb comment
@JohnMandock18 сағат бұрын
@clu63 you're pathetic making a comment like that. If they didn't have those people, they wouldn't even be in the playoffs right now. So I don't know what the heck you're talking about.
@lynnm4051118 сағат бұрын
Ohio State took 6 players out of the portal last year. Most of the NIL money was spent on retaining current stars. Buckeyes cherry pick the transfer portal, but they don’t build their team around the portal. Josh is right on this one.

They rely on normal HS recruiting mainly, they make big portal moves but don't live and die by it like other programs do. They wouldn't be there without Downs, Judkins, or even Howard when he's been on but Henderson, Smith, Tate, Egbuka, Jackson, Sawyer, Simon, Ransom, Styles, JT, Hancock, Williams, and more they all got from HS.

"we wanna do what ohio state did" lol i can't with this guy, osu loses to michigan in pathetic performance and ryan day is on the hot seat but now you are talking about peaking and buzz saw theory

Brother, why are you regurgitating everything everyone else is saying? How are you gonna sit there and say that a team with the pedigree of Texas is different from Oregon ? There are a reason teams win, tough games. We lost a Georgia and we lost to Georgia. It’s time to grow a pair boys . Texas 45-38 for the win
