Louisville fan - I really want a win and think it’s possible but will be (after a couple days) happy with a 3 point loss because it likely means we played hard we played good and we executed but just didn’t quite have enough to get it done. Auburn fan. I think that this could be one of those stupid games where they look like a totally different team and win. They tend to do that when they are home underdogs. That being said, I’m not picking them. Im gonna say 20-10 Oklahoma. Both teams run it a lot and try to play field position but Oklahoma’s defense will just be a little better.

Josh is correct about games like this ALWAYS BEING MEANINGFUL just like OU vs Texas is always meaningful TO THE PARTICIPANTS & THE SPORT. It’s NOT COACH SPEAK when coaches like Saban, DeBoer & Smart say “That’s why players come to a school like ours is TO PLAY IN GAMES LIKE THIS.” That is flat out TRUTH. This is now a rivalry that developed over the Saban vs Smart years at these two schools as both programs were always highly rate and that magnified the significance of the games that were mostly big to begin with as so many were in SEC or National Championship Games. So ratings now magnify even a regular season match up which is cool in the new playoff format as the loser isn’t out of the hunt.

I like how much better Oklahoma played with Michael Hawlins Jr. It will be a tough road game, I think the difference is Auburn has had a lot of turnovers lately, and this Defense that played excellent against one of the Top Offenses in the Country in Tennessee leads the Nation in Turnovers

While I agree Missouri doesn't belong near the top 10 right now, I do not understand why Penn State and Notre Dame do. When Mizzou goes down to the wire with Vandy its "forget the preseason", but when Penn State nearly lose to BG and ND do in fact lose to NIU, it's all about quality of recruiting class and coaching staff. I wouldn't favor this Mizzou team over any of your top 15, but I wouldn't favor those blue bloods either because they've shown similar levels of, if not more, weakness

Penn st had 1 bad half this year. They made the adjustment ar halftime like a good team does and shutout BG in the 2nd half like they should have in the first. They belong jn the top 10 when u look at the other options

Notre Dame is that high because they have a stupid amount of talent and a ridiculously good coaching staff. There head coach is a massive fraud and so is the Quarterback

Certainly Notre Dame should have won that game against NIU, but they’ve also outscored their opponents 94-10 since. In fact, they put more points on Purdue than ANY team ever has, and Purdue has been playing football for 137 years. Gotta look at the full picture. ND at 15ish is probably about right at the moment. Lots of football to be played and these things will sort themselves out.

I'm actually going to go the other way on the OU-Auburn game: I think Oklahoma should be the clear favorite. If both Cal and Arkansas can go into Jordan-Hare Stadium (which should've been full-throat both times, given it was the first P4 game and SEC game, respectively) and more or less control the game with defense and running the ball, why should Oklahoma not be able to do that and worse ESPECIALLY with a more mobile threat at QB? I legitimately have doubts that Auburn will score at all against Oklahoma. The Sooners' offense was atrocious against Tennessee, but their defense limited the scoring to a few explosive plays.

B10 has no one outside of OSU. We’ll see what Oregon turns into, but Michigan is ass with no QB. PSU has been throughly unimpressive. USC showed that they’re not ready for the big stage yet and don’t have the personnel on D yet to contend just because they beat an overrated LSU team. Everyone else is tier 2 in that conference.

Bama's gotten beat deep on slot fades in every game (0 completions), so Bama's explosive plays stat is a little misleading. I'm assuming UGA will have a couple shots to on those like they did in the SEC championship game. Bama by 10

Of course there have been open shots. Alabama has the youngest secondary in P4 if not all of college football. This being said Georgia's secondary talent wise is worse. They just have more experience and usually that favors experience but not if they're going to be tested all game. Bryce Young ripped apart a more talented and experienced Georgia secondary in the 2021 SECCG and only had one threat for half of the game. Milroe has 3-4 legit threats with one dynamic one (Ryan Williams). Both secondaries will be tested but as usual with Alabama/Georgia games the trenches will decide this one.

That game last year was no where close to that final score...Bama really tossed Georgia around in the trenches..at times it was very very ugly...Bamas trenches are playing much improved football over last year... Georgia lines are both alot worse due to injuries and moving on to Sunday ...I think Bama is about to win by 31 over em...
