cheryl is hilarious, i love her. the kiss was so sweet, made me smile. when brendan walked into the deli i shouted "no, go away you idiot!" to my computer screen. i think ste is right. he's been hurt so many times, all he wants is to protect himself and to make sure doug is ready. i think it will be better this way, so that when doug finally makes his mind up, they can start the relationship in a really good way.

I fell for Stendan, now I am falling for Stug! I think when Ste said he didn't want to be Doug's Brendan he meant he wanted the relationship to be equal, Brendan seduced Ste and had all the power, Doug is crazy about Ste, head over heels in love with him, Ste could seduce him, but then Doug isn't ready to be open, he is still confused, Ste doesn't want to hurt him the way he has been hurt. I think Doug will come out quick enough, the real story is when Brendan finds out, the love triangle is on

OMG that was amazing. Hollyoaks always seems to amaze me. I remember I would be squealing for hours when Stendan got together and I had the exact same reaction with this. I never could have imagined Stug four months ago but now it has totally resparked my interest. I am a complete Stendan shipper but I can already tell Stug will give Stendan a run for their money. They are so sweet together and really deserve each other. Brendan on the other hand seems forever an abuser

okay one more thing, I have to say, its really been a great journey to see Ste grow up so much. The way he handled that scene with Doug I think was so perfect and sad at the same time. His reference to being Brendan really weighs on your heart cause it shows how much as much as he does love Brendan, the way their relationship was still haunts him in a sense. this whole thing just makes me sad cause in the end somebody will lose.

As much as I could gush about the Stug scenes (which I have been squeeing about for an hours now) I love the look on Doug's face when Brendan enters. It's like it just dawned on him that, "Sh*t! I don't think people give Ste the credit he deserves here.Ste all through his life has been belittled and humiliated for who he was:scally,homeless,dumb, wifebeater,jailbird,screw up.Even before he came out.After BB he felt he was only good enough for being used and abused.He said several times he never felt good enough.And here he is again feeling like he is something to be embarrassed about,but he is used to it, so he gives Doug his time and his space.To me Ste's pain is heart wrenching.

stendan fans don't see just the abuse,as the actors say this is a love story too.I think brendan is a damaged man and ste in the past was exactly where brendan is now,so the potential and what makes the story epic is the possibilty for brendan to change and for ste to learn to have more self esteem even if they have to do that away from each other to get togeher later.the epicness is the long angsty/dark/passionate journey ahead for them.epic never meant fluffy or happiness as epic poems teach

who i find stronger in both relationships is Ste himself. able to overcome Brendan and with Doug knows when somebody isn't ready, and at least try to be a foundation for which Doug can be comfortable with himself before they embark on having a decent relationship.

Ste meant that he can't be Doug's first foray into homosexual relationships. Ste was unsure and nervous when he and Brendan started, and he's past that now. He's comfortable with who and what he is. He needs Doug to be sure of what he wants. It's not about Ste worrying about turning abusive toward Doug. It's more like, "I can't be your experiment. Decide what you want, and when you're SURE, then we'll see."

The first Stug scene was so awkward.. I mean, what was Doug even saying? He brings coffee and then says he better stay off the coffee...lol. ....and it's Maths...lol Cindy. Did Adam quote Shakespeare?? Knew that man was too perfect. The kisses were perfect. What followed was heartbreaking. Whatever these two do is so intense.. The fighting, the kissing, the looking, and the banging (when they get around to it).

The SL is similar to McDean however Craig and John Paul's friendship was around 6 months when it started to develop into their love story, Stug has had about a month if slightly longer of their friendship before a hug from Ste made Doug have feelings for him. The beauty of McDean, in my eyes was that scene where JP confessed his love for Craig they were already showing how much more John Paul was important to Craig by having him run after Sarah instead of sorting out their relationship problems.

I love the bit when Doug said "You're kind, funny, your smile...". Compliment after compliment. Ste never (if my memory is correct) got this from Brenden. I don't know if any of Ste's ex-girlfriends ever said these kind of things. It's reasons like this why I jumped from the Stenden ship to Stug. Stug relationship looks like a winner. If Brenden realises how too well-suited Doug is for Ste. He will have to finally realise he has to be change for Ste. To be honest I don't think it's gonna happen.
