I LOVE Ste; if you compare him with how he was in the beginning of his relationship with Brendan, you can barely recognize him now. Ste has become a strong, confident, and much less naive person that he used to be. I really like the new Steven :).

I love Stendan so much and idk why (probably because I live Brendan/Emmett) but its parts like this in their storyline that it gets hard to watch. Even though it wouldn't have been possible, i just wish that Ste and Brendan would've gotten a happily ever.

Maaaan, rewatching this I noticed the parallel between this scene in the hotel restaurant and the first time Ste took Bren to the Gay Club. It is just... *chef's kiss.* You can see how the tables have turned since then and how different they both are and how much they've grown!

Oh my god, I love this storyline. This entire week has been epic. I love Bren telling Cheryl that Doug is gay! Haha. And Bren trying to get Ste back in the sack. Sleazy dog!!! However, it was so hot seeing how confident and secure Bren was at having dinner with his "lover". Bren was on the edge of his seat the first time Ste took him to the gay club, and now, he is so comfortable sitting at the table with Ste. I love how Ste pulled the "bathroom" excuse to ditch Bren. How does it feel Bren?

I love Brendan but if I had to deal with someone like him in real life, I'd probably end up in jail. The man is insufferable. Good on Ste for walking out on him. No one likes being controlled, and so blatantly to boot. I don't know why Bren keeps repeating the same cycle when clearly it doesn't work. He's a smart man but he doesn't learn from his mistakes. If only Eileen hadn't come back when she did...I feel like things would've been so much different.

In Britain we get the proper episode on channel 4 at 6.30pm, but at 7pm we can also see the next episode on e4. In the UK it has a bad reputation though, but I love some of the characters too much to not watch it haha. Love from Scotland!

I couldn't agree more. Ste has to keep his, hard won emotional independence from Brendan. He will take a, VERY long time, to allow anyone, any control over him. Even kind, Doug. To be honest I'm surprised he signed Brendan's form so easily. Although he didn't have a choice, i expected more of a fight.

I think Brendan must change, of course. But... every horror happened to him: didn't make big changes. Maybe it would be something good - I know, he doesn't deserve it - what could help him to change? Not Stephen, but anything. Like Amy's friendship helped Ste, maybe some good emotion to Brendan would help. But it won't be soap :) And I think, that's the problem with Stug, too: it's not so interesting to watch a merry couple watching TV, take kids to playground and cooking together happily...
