I’ve done the separate bedrooms and IT WORKS!! it’s great to have your place to still be an individual and you still get to enjoy each other when you want to. Personally when I share a bed with a partner I become lazy sexually because I associate my bed with sleep, but when you get to have a place with 2 beds it actually makes your sex life better. Might just be a me thing but I support !!🎉🎉

100% plus great if you have different sleep schedules or one tends to snore loudly 🤣

I think two bedrooms is the answer for a lot of couples. It lets you have your own space but you still live in the same home.

Yes that's great and that's one thing! But it can be super hard to get a comfortable and uninterrupted sleep in these situations for whatever reason (dreams, tossing, over-heating) that honestly can make or break the next day! Sleep is top can't function properly without it! and to think that this is expected in every relationship baffles me.

"I want my own bedroom and a tactical flashlight" 🔦 - idk why but I laughed unnecessarily hard at that. I think I'm gonna have to look into flashlights.

Me and my husband have our own rooms 15 years strong ❤ forcing ourselves to enmesh every little aspect of ourselves forever seems insane . And it let's you stay you, the person your significant other fell for in the first place. . And it's hot to show off a new thing or a new song to your partner in your room . It's not hot to be up each other's ass for years lol and me and my husband are both only children so it just feels more natural.

The secret hotline is a good way to diagnose sociopaths. Homeless people are allowed to be rude. If they aren't trying to kill or harm you, them being rude is nothing compared to not having a house in the cold. I'd be rude if I was stuck outside sleeping on concrete.

It's a choice. Most are choosing to stay homeless and they get mad if you don't give them money because they feel entitled to handouts. It's out of control. They have a warm place to sleep, they just can't do drugs there so they choose to stay outside. They have clean clothes and access to a shower. They put on dirty clothes, rub dirt on their faces and tape down parts of their limbs to look disabled. They look super sad until you give them money and they turn around and laugh at you. They work in groups and have competitions to see who can look the most pathetic and get the most money. I've been there. I know all their tricks.

Moshe, Natasha and Reggie, you ALL should read "A Room of One's Own" by Virginia Woolf from 1929... having separate bedrooms in nothing new! Xox

Moshe's idea: Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera lived in 2 houses connected by a walking bridge. I personally will never live with a partner again UNLESS we have separate bedrooms and bathrooms. I've lived alone for too long.

Lol I agree with what you're saying, but Frida Khalo and Diego Rivera is a crazy example to use. Their relationship was about as toxic as it gets.

Also advocate for separate bedrooms. Doesn’t mean you can’t sleep in the same bed but it allocates you each your own space.

Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter - famously - lived and raised kids in homes next door to each other. With a (raised?) walkway they eventually built to go between. (Yes yes, they're divorced now - but I believe they lived happily like this for many years.)

I have been in a couple of very long term living-together relationships. Always slept in the same bed. This past year, because of different sleep schedules, my wife and I started sleeping separately, and it has been so nice. It's much easier to get quality sleep when you have the bed to yourself. You just have to make sure you keep up the physical intimacy side of the relationship. I don't really see why sleeping in the same bed as someone else matters. If you want to "sleep over" for a change, just do it.

I didn't know separate houses was a thing but I've been saying for YEARS that whenever I find my wife, we're definitely living in two houses. She can have the big one and decorate it with all the pottery barn she wants but I need my own little hut to fill with smoke and christmas lights that I can return to after I've spent my hour-a-day alotted time with my fianSAY.

Pro of separate bedrooms: not having to hear snoring Con: not being close to your partner. Intimacy is important to me. So I just need a partner who doesn’t snore 😅. When partners start sleeping in separate rooms, sex stops. Unless you make the effort to make a date

You really should grind your own beans, it goes so stale when it’s preground. Buy a coffee grinder it’s $20. And something you can actually use. Or better yet invest in an espresso machine, even us poors have them. Breville Barista. Best appliance I’ve ever had

When my partner and I had a small apartment, with one kitchen-living room and one bedroom, we craved privacy. So we moved into an apartment with another room. For fifteen years we had a two-person-bed in each room and a desk with a computer, but we sold his bed a few months ago because we never needed it (except for two or three times when one of us had a bad cold). We always sleep in my room because it is better decorated and cooler. During the day we each use our rooms for home office, studying, video games, ... Also, it's good to know that there is an option to get out of each other's way if you need space. I would never go without my own room again.
