Listen and Learn to our new illustrated dvar Torah parashah covering Leviticus 1:1-5:26 named Vayikra (וַיִּקְרָא‎)- Hebrew for “and He called,”. This is the 24th weekly Torah portion in the annual cycle of Torah readings and the original name for the Book of Leviticus. The parsha for today lays out the laws of 5 different sacrifices and offerings we call (קָרְבָּנוֹת‎, korbanot) and it is from this Parshah of Vayikra we derive 16 new mitzvot commandments!

The sacrifices can be related as prayers......how to?! Our prayers are our sacrifices?

The time of the morning and evening sacrifices are optimal times for prayer and in fact Jewish prayer literacy at those times have been in place ever since the destruction of the Temple. When we pray we sacrifice our own time and focus and desires and give all our focus to connecting to the Holy One and it is said they ascend as a sweet aroma to Him just as the sacrifices and the Alter of incense did. 🙏

I just saw something new and disturbing and I believe it’s something we should be praying to be strengthened about. Much of scripture is given to us as a cautionary tale, but Ive never seen this or heard anyone teach on this. Did you know that while Jesus praised John the Baptist as greatest of all men born of woman, that he said John was lower than the least in heaven? Read MATTHEW 11.. he says it in verse 11 because when John was faced with death he questioned whether Jesus was the Messiah. We cannot waiver in our faith and WE WILL, like John, be threatened with death. We Can NOT WAIVER🙏🙏🙏✝️🎚✝️🎚

Yochana was a prophet… and more than a prophet: Yeshua reminded them that Yochanan was God’s chosen herald of Messiah Ben Yoseph, not a man-pleaser or a self-pleaser. He was in fact more than a prophet, because he alone had the calling of serving as the herald of Yeshua's first coming and for that he was the greatest of prophets and the greatest of men (among those born of women there has not risen one greater than Yochanan the Immerser). This is he of whom it is written: Matthew noted that this ministry of the Messiah’s herald was prophesied in Isaiah 40:3 and Malachi 3:1. Though some might put Yochanan in a bad light because of his seeming doubts regarding Yeshua, Yeshua Himself spoke quite highly of Yochanan. “Yochanan had often borne witness to Yeshua; now Yeshua bears witness of Yochanan.” · Yochanan was steady, not shaken easily like a reed. · Yochanan was sober, in that he lived a disciplined life, not in love with the luxuries and comforts of this world. · Yochanan was a servant, a prophet of God. · Yochanan was sent, as the special messenger of the Lord. · Yochanan was special, in that he could be considered the greatest under the Old Covenant. · Yochanan was second to even the least in the kingdom under the New Covenant. But in regards to your question of why Yeshua said “He who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he” it is referring to the fact that although Yochanan was great at that time, he was not like those in the coming kingdom who will fulfill the New Covenant of having Torah written upon their hearts and minds in fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:31-33. @@AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers clearly you have not understood what and why Yeshua spoke of John (for those who don’t speak Hebrew), as LOWER THAN THE LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. You seem to think my post was attacking John. This lack of understanding and completely missing Yeshua’s warning by focusing TWICE NOW on the Hebrew names rather than the really important important teaching. I wasn’t aware this was a channel that focused on correcting English to Hebrew יוֹחָנָן‎ (Yôḥānān) rather than edifying the viewers about Yeshuas teaching. Typical in these end times.
