This teaching was such an eye opener that it will give me a greater ability to grow in relationship in Yeshua and in Elohim through His Ruach HaKodesh. One of the best teachings I have ever heard from this parashah. Thanks be to our Yud-Hay-Vov-Hay, our all existing loving Father. Hallelujah and amen. 🕎🤠🇨🇦

Shavua Tov! I'm so excited to finally understand how these lessons work. Its been 3 weeks now that I get it. Forgive me, it's a whole new learning system to me. I know that Hashem has answered my prayers.....I prayed for a teaching system that would go through the entire Bible (before I knew about the Torah) and go step by step! Then to make this even better, I find versions you have done in prior years. Thank you for your dedication to Hashem's work. I'm catching up! Shalom!

I have a question. (Couldn't remember if it was mentioned in your video/s). When a person brought an animal sacrifice for atonement; did that person slay their own animal, or did the priest slay it for them?
@AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers

Originally, in the case of the olah burnt offering, the person bringing young male cow was to put the weight of his hands upon the head, confess his sin, and then slaughter it in the outer court. “Then he (the sinner) shall put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him. He shall kill the bull before the LORD; and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood and sprinkle the blood all around on the altar …” (Leviticus 1:4,5). And we see the same we see for the shalamim peace offering of Lev. 3 whether a cow or sheep or goat. This is because God ordained that the sinner would be the one that would kill the innocent victim. In later times, the priests did the slaying, though it was God’s original plan that the sinner himself should do it. In the wilderness, there was a small number of people compared with later times. But in the Promised Land, when hundreds and even thousands of participants came every day, the Levites and priests conducted the services. The act of slaying the animal was an agonizing experience for the sinner because he knew that it was his sins that caused the death of the victim. God designed that this ceremony would create a hate for sin in the hearts. Every time the sinner brought his sin offerings, he learned the that sin caused death. And, then, he would heed God’s call “go, and sin no more” (John 8:11).

@@AssemblyofCalledOutBelievers thank you for the detailed response, it is much appreciated. That was what I was thinking how agonizing that would be to have to carry out the slaughtering etc. I'm so thankful we no longer have to continue those kind of sacrifices, and I'm even more thankful for Yeshua laying his life down for me (everyone).
