Thank you for the quality of the information and the relevance of your analyses. One of my favorite YT channels now on watches subject. A small detail to further improve the quality : the noise of the air conditioner present for a few episodes is now overtaken by the snoring of the little dog ;) Happy vacations :)

I can vouch for the 9RA2 accuracy. Have owned the SLGA021 for over a year now and i tested it for a month straight on wrist and it lost -0.5 second in that whole month of use. Now it is part of a watch rotation and every time i wear it i check the deviation the next day and it is 0.0 seconds every time. I love this movement.

The Watch community is one big fckin echo chamber. If someone doesn't like something, suddenly everyone doesn't like it. If you haven't figured it out yet. Marinemaster is now a line. The 200m that seems generic to you for whatever reasons is now the 200MM. And the new 300m is 300 MM. And they both look amazing. Best watches for the money by far.

Let me add my take: I collect marine masters. I really appreciate the monoblock design, so to me, while the new watches are certainly interesting and probably great quality, I'm hoping Seiko brings back the monoblock case design.

Not sure it's quite fair to compare prices of 50 year old Grand Seiko GS45 with that of a new re-creation with a modern movement, much longer power reserve, etc., which one would not need to baby. I do agree the price is on the high end.

Tag on a roll once again 😊 the skeleton dial works for me. However, I totally agree with the bezel... stainless steel would have worked a little better with the pop of colour. That Alpina is giving of a whif of hublot to say the least... not for me, but the dimensions in regards to the thickness are great. Breitling seems to be on a resurgence lately, and this watch looks great with the new colours and details for the NFL. Now...that seiko is a stunner! Its just a shame that when Seiko give, they also take away. The GS hmmm, I can take them or leave them...dial is stunning sure, but they just seem a little boring, same style bracelwt,case etc etc Awesome video as usual btw 😊

I'm with you on the Tag, I don't think the skeletonization makes it look cheap, but it's just not the right look IMO, too busy in a bad way

I think having a date complication is preferred by more people including myself. I use my watch to actually tell the time and the date every day at work and even on weekends. I find the date complication very useful. Equal in importance to good timekeeping. 😊

@@igorcicala7 i get where you're coming from, we each have our tastes. And seiko does offer no date watches but very seldom and i think the reasoning behind that is they have to cater to the customers' demands and i believe more customers like date on their watches. As a business, it would make sense for them to give the majority what they want and thereby sell more watches.

8:25 I read somewhere 2 or so years ago when i got my SPB313 that now it's required to get all markers as full size+full lume to meet refreshed ISO (or DIN?) standard, that's why now dates are on "elevated" 6 or 4.5. But don't quote me on that and re-verify, because i am to lazy to look for a source and we all know how human memory works ;D

I actually really liked last year's Marinemaster but the execution of the bezel action was really sub-par and I would never pay that kind of money without getting on-the-adjustment these days. Hopefully they fixed that for the new one.

I don’t necessarily mind a 4:30 date window, but when the numbers are crooked it drives me nuts! Why not just print the numbers so they will be vertical when displayed in the window??

Man, Breitling’s prices are really high. I get those NFL ones are limited, but wow. Breitling used to be a relatively attainable luxury watch that offered decent value, but I feel they’re just way too expensive now.

Yeah.. and they ask almost 5k for their basic model, thats insane. 5k for an ETA 2824 thats batshit crazy! And people say the new TAG aquaracer is expensive at 3500 Euros.

The problem with the Tag Heuer: it looks like a worse version of the Zenith equivalent. Same umbrella company. Whoops. Now Tag Heuer has made a bit of a mess of the Carrera range at this point.

TAG has had some great new releases....until now. These new skeletonized watches look terrible and cheap. Looks for these to be 50% off in the secondary market next year.

Seiko just doesn't get it. No date window period on a diver. Definitely not at 4 o'clock. Never will own a seiko as long as they keep making these design errors.

Professional divers dive seikos and citizens, also with the date complication..... You sporadically.... will see a professional diver diving with a swiss watch around his /her wrist...just saying..

no ceramic bezel, a -10/+15 seconds per day caliber, same clasp used in watches that costs 1/3 of this. are they listening to customers?

Well I went to the moon and back to obtaina Moon Swatch at the introduction. And got so p'd off in the process, that I swore to never buy one. Than actually having the opportunity to buy them not too long ago, made me reconsider. Why spending that money on plastic ....... waste of money and plastic waste.

Regarding the new Marinemaster, it’s two steps forward and one step backwards. Imagine if Seiko kept the 39mm case with the new design. Shitko, you never cease to upset me.

So in essence Breitling is now taking after Invicta...the only difference is that Invicta does it for less. I'm not a fan of these watches.

I hate Tag Heuer, except with a few good-quality exceptions and not overpriced garbage. I had one in the late 1990s, and it just kept breaking. I think Breitling is far superior in quality, and on the used market, you can get some good deals. I think Grand Seiko keeps getting better. The ones you talked about are very expensive but there are much less expensive models but the quality is amazing. I do not like the giant price increases. I don't have any but I have a friend who is able to find them for a decent price used from Japan. His daughter lives in Japan.

GS are losing their minds. Those prices are insane for those watches. 36mm would have been better too but that's besides the point. I suppose these are for the die hard GS fans who love being ripped off. Their dials are getting really boring just the same thing recoloured over and over, they need to iterate on the actual ergonomics of their watches. Bracelets and clasps are not good. They cases need to be thinner and smaller... etc etc.

NO ever brilliant on the new Seiko SLA series is a disappointment...they should only use this ever brilliant steel for their high end diver models.

What a disappointment this new MM300 is. No monobloc case. No ceramic bezel. No on the fly micro adjust clasp. Not a real saturation diver anymore. The charm is gone. They took a generic diver and put the name Marinemaster on it. Such a lazy release.

What's the issue, if you want the old monobloc case, just buy the SLA021. I don't see this watch as a new 'MM300' but rather an evolution of this case which has already been used in the GMT and limited edition models.
