excellent. The Enola Gay ain't bad, and I'm glad you thought to carry them. (Icarry 2) and the mosquito net. I've learned to leave the radio off because it is a liability until you need it. (haven't found a mod for the siren) The one thing I don't get in such videos, is the obsession with night vision. Maybe it is location driven, because everywhere I look, is just a wall of trees and vegetation and you ain't seeing through it. It isn't x-ray. Only one time, have I been in the woods when it was so dark, I couldn't navigate; but I still had a cardinal direction with a sliver of moon.
@protectpersevere2030 Жыл бұрын
Yah deep veg definitely sucks. Nvgs for me are for navigation on known paths and for observing avenues of approach and open fields.

@TheHouseofEli really great for 24hrs? what civilian is patrolling for 24hrs? The larping and fantasy world you guys live in is getting out of hand. I’ve been in the Army for 8 years and have patrolled for a day or longer like ten times. You guys need to get real lol
@protectpersevere2030 Жыл бұрын
@@RedForman22 Cool story bro… Don’t now how many times WE have to say An armed prepared citizen in a WROL is nothing close to your average Grunt especially in GWOT terms. We have to incorporate certain skills or equipment but we would have to proceed in a totally different format
@RedForman22 Жыл бұрын
@@protectpersevere2030 right and once again if your a prepared citizen what are you patrolling in the woods for? It does nothing for a individual or group. Literally defeats the purpose of prepping anything. When there’s hurricanes or tornadoes in Florida or Texas, do you see people patrolling around in the woods after? And even in Ukraine dudes aren’t patrolling for 24hrs haha there going out for 6-8hrs then going back to a trench. Just don’t understand why you group of guys push “patrolling” so much when there’s zero purpose for the average dude. If there’s any sort of government left during shtf the national guard will have orders to shoot every person dressed in kit they see walking around. But cool story bro keep playing dress up with you nerd friends like you guys are ten year olds, instead of doing some critical thinking.

@oldleatherhandsfriends4053 Жыл бұрын
Why do you have 6 extra mags? Seems like to many to me.
@protectpersevere2030 Жыл бұрын
6 mags plus 1 in the rifle is the standard infantry combat loadout. Honestly 6 mags in my opinion is just enough to break contact along with the smoke grenades. No one who has survived a gunfight ever came back saying they wish they hadnt brought extra ammo. Running out of ammo is a death sentence that i plan on avoiding. I could see the merits of actually carrying more honestly especially in a pack
@mr.dinder9287 Жыл бұрын
12 is a good number. A bando with extra mags in the pack is awesome. That gives you 18+1. Sounds excessive, but running out is a low place to be. The three mag micro rig will get you a dirt nap

Appreciate it man! Not familiar with the LBT harness but i’m just running the standard LFR harness
@jovenalasis4468 Жыл бұрын
Nice loadout! Thanks for sharing it. Here are my suggestions: 1. You can get a foldable trowel, instead of getting a trowel with a short handle. 2. As for your LBE, there are ALICE-style LBEs that have MOLLE on the back. This will allow you to attach your bladder bag to your rig. Bulldog Tactical makes one. Eagle Industries also make webbing that has MOLLE on the back. Brent0331 in KZbin has a video where he uses an Eagle Industries LBE to carry his fighting load.
@protectpersevere2030 Жыл бұрын
Thanks man. Didn’t know they made folding trowels unless u mean the standard e tool. As for attaching the hydration bag on the back i’m still not totally sold on it and i think the LFR has lot of advantages over those other rigs. If anything i’d just change the harness itself if i really wanted. Brent 0331 is awesome been watching his channel for years and one of my biggest inspirations

@jovenalasis4468 are you actually trying to give advice on this idiotic video haha. What civilian is patrolling through the woods for 24hrs? Really though who is doing this, I get you guys like to larp and dress up for fun, but this is horrible advice and stupid. Actually in the military you hardly ever go on day long patrols, so idk where all you nerds get this stuff from haha.

I get it all you vet bro nerds want to larp and play dress up in the woods still, but when shtf and the national guard sees you guys walking around the woods there going to shoot all you idiots who think this is what prepared citizens should be doing.
