the 300 year old substance hostage situation in the united states has us rapidly running out of topsoil and fossil water resources. there has got to be some other socially acceptable way to over through the government; besides african heroin injection prior to, or shortly following, inauguration.

Hi, it's Mason. Thank you, Shizuka, and the team for having me. Thanks to everyone's kind guidance, I was able to get through the shoot despite being nervous during my first filming🥶 The fantastic filming and editing techniques truly captured the charm of Fukuoka, and I'm thrilled with the result. I look forward to meeting many guests here in Fukuoka. Arigato~~~😭

Unrepentant foodie here. There are reasons I moved here in 2007 and refused to move away even when it meant losing my job and having to find a new one, and the food is definitely one of them. (Though an absence of good Mexican cuisine is one strike against us compared to Tokyo.) The best ramen and champon to be found in the city, imo, is from a little-known place called Fuuton in Haruyoshi. (But please don't invade it en masse.) The owner's nickname is Lob-chan (ロブちゃん), short for "Lobster." He's very friendly, though I didn't become a regular there due to his personality but rather due to his cooking skills. One of the best places for chicken skin yakitori is Kawaya in Shirogane. They are already well known, so you DEFINITELY need a reservation before going there, even on a weekday. Their butabara (pork belly) yakitori is very meaty (I think they strip away the fat before skewering it), so for fans of Kyushu-style yakitori I do recommend this place.

What a priceless insights. Definitely learned few more intresting things about Fukuoka's food. We have been there a few times but didn't know much about the chicken skin and the story behind Mentaiko. 🙌 That hakata ramen shop prices are ridiculously cheap, it's insane considering the raising cost of the products worldwide. JAPAN always stand out about this price aspect. 💕

Fukuoka is one of my favorite cities in Japan. Too bad for tourists who travel all the way to Hiroshima but don't go just a little further to Fukuoka. Just an excellent food town. If you want atmosphere, they still have Yatai (mobile food stands) which are a throwback to a long distant time and are dying out. My favorite restaurant in Japan, and my favorite food, is miso pork belly yakitori at Hachibei which has a location with an underground passage to Hakata station and several other locations including the Tenjin area. The chicken skin yakitori looked especially tasty.

$2 is like 300 yen i think. 300 yen in Japan can buy lots of food. I so so so so miss Japan. I love!!!! The buffet breakfast at the Tokyo Dome Hotel. I wish to work remotely and live there. In terms of the Shrine. I suspect that they do something. But not the actual thing u ask for. Could be someone else in my family asked for Romance for me. But as soon as i am back. I got "Romance curse" two times in two days. Anyway love Japan!!

5:33 Please don’t think that any part of the Japanese occupation of Korea is “Cool” history. It is incredibly insensitive.
@yeumee Жыл бұрын
Relax, she just mentioned the history piece of it and its origin, that's it.
@mikeunconfirmed1489 Жыл бұрын
@@yeumee describing it as “interesting” would be one thing but “cool”? Nothing about murder, rape and theft is “cool”, even if it lead to the Japanese adopting a Korean food item.
@yeumee Жыл бұрын
@@mikeunconfirmed1489 I know nothing I say will make this conversation any better, but you're blowing this way out of proportion. We all know the horrible crimes committed during war time, but this is just how a food came about. What do you want her to say "oh this food came about after Japan went about mass pillaging and raping/killing poor innocent people, so we should be ashamed when even trying to talk about food"? Nothing she talked about implied that the crimes committed were cool.
@ShizukaAnderson2 ай бұрын
Whoa, yeah definitely was not trying to imply that the Japanese occupation was cool! The war crimes were horrific and I realized listening to that again it did come off as an insensitive thing to say. 😳 I was just trying to emphasize that mentaiko, although now a huge symbol of Fukuoka, was not originally a Japanese food, but actually Korean, which not many people know. (I don’t even think most Japanese people know this!) I will definitely be more careful about how I word things like this in the future though- thank you!
