Aloha from Hawaii, Shizuka-chan! We just got back from Kyushu when this video was posted, and got to visit a lot of the places from your previous video. We also happened upon some of the places in this video, loved the udon at Inaba! Fun to see you review places we just saw! Keep up the great work!! The only complaint I have is that it was still brutally warm and humid. Probably better to wait until October or November. Was still an awesome trip, partially because of your and Mason's recommendations!!! Mahalo!!!

Always love it when my fav host is in this channel. I’m from Canada but living in Fukuoka for the last 4 years. I’m pretty sure you were not in Hakata when you said, “I’m in Hakata”. It looks like you were next to Mitsukoshi department store and Nishitetsu train entrance in Tenjin…to be fair, I guess Fukuoka is so compact that you can walk to Hakata ward within 10 minutes from there. Ok….I’m getting hungry…

These are some different dishes and drinks we donʻt normally see on Kyushūfood tours. So oishisoo! I noticed he pronounces "udon" something like "woodun". Is that Hakata or Fukuoka dialect?" The woman who served you pronounced it the usual way.

Yaay!! Fukuoka part 2 is here!! All the places and people are all lovely in their own way. From the simple market to the cool (quite literally too, looking at the massive ACs :v :v) Udon restaurant, Cafe, and Izakaya. Every place's backstory are very touching, both old and new businesses. I really want to especially try the Sashimi and Udon restaurant. Mason knows good stuff :) :) Still waiting for the promised Yokohama part 2 by Shizuka-nee, by the way :> :> P.S: I thought I saw a video thumbnail with Stef on it about 3 - 4 days ago when I was going home from work, but It's gone? I was just going to watch it when I got home o__o P.P.S: 0:43 and 11:38 are very Kawaii!! P.P.P.S: The ACs in this video are pure joy for me. From the neat installation at 07:19 in the Udon restaurant, the massive Cassette ACs in Bonet at 09:38 and 11:46, the creative wooden decor + cover for the Daikin outdoor unit at 12:28 for the Kettle place, the one with the Snowman at 13:18, the massive split unit at full power at 13:28, and the numerous other outdoor units like Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic on the night market. Japan really love their ACs, and I love it. Great for the hot summer day :D :D P.P.P.P.S: 13:40 "Air Chair Bar" has a nice ring too. I also think another reason for its name is because everyone's sitting (re: standing) on the 'Air Chair' from the massive AC on full blast there :b :b

00:41 that shot needs some clarification. Why is the older woman holding an umbrella for the other one?
@ShizukaAndersonАй бұрын
lol! Good catch 🤣 I’m assuming one of them didn’t have an umbrella so they’re sharing! I’ve done the same before so that’s my best guess 😆
@nelsonhu3926Ай бұрын
The sun is pretty harsh and it's just friends sharing an umbrella. The elderly lady is probably the owner of the umbrella
