I think that I've seen all of your videos now and enjoyed them. Nice .17 BUT it's a great flat trajectory little round for small game and we use them on foxes. The BK 2 is a cracking looking knife. I'm seriously thinking of getting one. Good luck👍

Thank you very much. Yeah the .17 is great for rabbits long range and a decent fox gun. The BK2 is one of my best mates lol a good good knife you won't be disappointed with that. Thanks mate take it easy 👍🏻

Looked like a cracking camp. Having the 4x4 sure does help when camping with slightly more luxiorious kit. Saves having to hike it in when weight is at a premium. Shame you had no luck with the rifle. How do you go about getting permission for shooting / camping. The only permissions I have are a couple of friend of a friend type ting.

Yeah mate thats a good spot of mine. The best is taking the hot tent out and stove on a snow filled night. Unfortunately mate shooting and camping rights are hard to get. However I wouldn't give up on it, start off by asking just to camp and build a good trusting relationship with the owner then ask. I keep ferrets and got firearms for years so land owners ask me to sort out rabbits ect, I just say ok but I'll have the camping if that's ok. Jobs a good one. Just be respectful and patient mate an your get it. When I get a bit more up there in youtube I may take people out with me all being well.

@@welcome2thewoodsuk I keeping considering getting a 4x4 of some type to access the permissions I do have to make access easier & for a bit of greenlaning. Just not sure if I can justify it for how much use I’d get from one. The two permissions I do have are at Pluckley & one between Bearsted & Hollingbourne. Also could do with a hot tent but having to carry the gear into the woods is putting me off. Plus doing it at a non permission woodland isn’t ideal when having to pack up quick time 😂

@ashhoughton Yeah I know what you mean. I had a little jeep but didn't use it enough to justify the tax blah blah blah it was a hole in my pocket. Oh yeah I know both areas but I know Hollingbourne really well. It's all bachelor land or boyed that way.
