This music piece has been the ultimate test for aspiring trumpet players for ages. I once had trumpet lessons about 60 yrs ago as a teenager and had course book well known as the Arban guide. The Carnival de Venice was in there, an Arban arrangement as a lofty goal to reach with all the difficult tonguing and the high low jumps, the glissandi. It's still too difficult to do it perfectly for this young lady (she's not a baby!) but she is well on her way and she has a beautiful musical open tone! Bravo!

Myself also--worked on the Arban book in high school (1962-68). Was never able to get the Carnival, not good at double and triple tonguing. This is definitely a classic piece and challenge for trumpeters.

I am an old trumpeter and have never seen such amazing talent for someone of this age. Her double tonguing is absolutely remarkable. She certainly has a large array of techniques that is quit impressive. Trumpet is not usually played by the female for numerous reasons but she sure blows away male competition. She is already star quality, greatness can only lead to even greater heights at her age. Thank you for sharing this video with us, it is priceless and I feel so unworthy to witness God's miraculous hand in this performance. May God guide this young lady into a wonderful future and closeness to Him. There are many trumpets in Heaven but Heaven sent this little girl to us !

My jaw drops again when you see you play the trumpet ... Wow! Now that I have watched more of your videos and see how you have evolved, I must tell you that you are a beautiful example for me and for many, it shows that you have a lot of discipline and your talent it's a blessing from God. The trumpet is a difficult instrument to maintain resistance and quality of sound and interpretation, it seems that you sleep with it as your pillow. This is a hard song, especially when you get to the double- and triple-tongue parts, and that part at the end that sounds like two trumpets. But my goodness, this young lady nailed it. I had a silly ear to ear grin on my face the entire time. Wow!

한마디로 신동이다 세상에는 노력만으로 안되는게 몇가지있다 큰 부자되는것과 이 트럼펫같은 악기가 그렇다 초등 4 학년이면 이제 겨우 10 살 남짓한 나이인데 ㆍㆍㆍ 본인도 트럼펫 죽어라고한지 10 년인데 아직도 고음 C를 제데로 못내는데ㆍㆍㆍ 귀엽다못해 너무 얄미울 정도다 칠십인 본인이 10살 아이를 질투한다

여기서 다경이 또 만났네. 초딩4년????? [누군가 대신 연주해주지 않았을까?]라고 의심 할 정도의 연주가 자연스럽게 흘러나오는 저 모습을 어떻게 칭찬을 해야 할까? 트럼펫의 지식은 없지만 음의 도약이 너무도 자연스럽고, 저 어린 것이 연주가 끝나도 힘겨운 기색이 전혀 없고....다경이의 연주는 어디를 가서 보고 듣더라도 신기할 뿐...... 다경이 멋지게 자라거라. 세월에 거역하여 자만하지 말고 아무리 천재적인 소질이 있다 하더라도 가꾸기를 게을리하면 잔인한 세월에 그냥 묻혀버린다는 것을 다 알고 매일 달라지는 모습에 또한 번 놀라고 다경이를 기다리는 사람이 점점 더 늘어난다는 것도 잊지않았으면 좋겠다. 고등학교때 밴드부에서 관악의 꽃은 트럼펫이란 말에 홀려서 트럼펫을 시작해서 대학교때 트럼펫 전공을 했습니다.대학생활이 정말 즐거웠고 지금도 그립네요.졸업하고는 트럼펫을 내려 놨어요.나중에라도 다시 시작해야지 하면서 16년이나 지났네요. 다경이 보면서 왜그리 눈물이 나는지ㅠ 부르기 쉬운 악기가 아닌걸 알기에 다경이가 너무 멋있고 대단하네요. 다경이 뒤에서 뒷받침 해주시는 다경이 부모님도 대단하시고 다경이 때문에 다시 한번 연습을 시작해보고 싶은 용기가 생겼어요.너무 고맙습니다ㅠ

트럼펫 전공을 했다면서, 왜 손 떼었나요? 아깝소. 소리내기 얼마나 어려운데. 난 아마추어로서 취미로 배웠는데 ( 독일엔 거의 큰 동네 마다 교회당을 중심으로 브라스 밴드부가 있어, 수많은 시 내 축제 행사에서 밴드부 축하 행진 함), 소리 를 내는데만 3 주 정도걸렸다오. 옥타브 위 '솔' 을 낼 수 없을 때는 포기들 정도. 물론 취미생활이어서 늘 붙들고' 연습한건 아니지만. 전공 트럼펫 을 놓았다니 섭섭하오. 하긴 몇년전 서울 청담동 아파트 지하실 주차장을 돌며, 밤을 세워 가며 자동차 세차 아르바이트 하는 젊은이도, 대학교에서 ' 바순' 전공했다는데, 그거로 먹고살기 힘들어 일한다고. ㅜ ㅜ ㅜㅜ 내 동생 친구의 형은 밤에 룸살롱을 돌며, 악기 연주해주고, 큰 돈을 벌기도 했다는데, 지금은 노래방 기계들이 나와서 그 직업도 사라졌는지 몰라. 참 안타깝고 슬픈 현실.

반주기가 있는 요즘도 7080 라이브나 룸밴드들은 활동합니다. 나이트클럽 밴드들은 거의 없어졌지만요. 요즘은 색소폰 동호회가 많고 직장인 밴드도 꽤 있지만, 음악을 업으로 하는 사람들은 많이 줄어든거 같습니다.

천재란 소리에 현혹되지 마세요. 신동이란 소리에 자만해지지 마세요(물론 아닐줄 알지만...) 물론 다경양의 노력과 실력에 충분히 그런 말 들을 자격이 있습니다. 제가 음악은 잘 모르지만 연주를 듣는 중간에 박수가 나오고 찬사가 터졌습니다. 다만 정말로 소중하게 꽃 피워나갈 다경양 같은 예술인들이 사람들의 칭찬과 찬사에 길들여지거나 멍에가 지워져서 그 부담에 지치거나 쓰러지지 않기를 바랄 뿐입니다. 그저 음악을 사랑하고 트럼펫을 즐기는 다경양에게서 그 마음의 소리들이 들려지길 바랍니다. 입술이 부르트고, 심장이 쪼그라들고, 가슴이 터질 것 같은 수 많은 노력의 시간들이 고스란히 음악에 녹아들길 원합니다. 그러면서도 마음껏 놀고, 마음껏 사색하며 인생을 노래하길 기대합니다. 그럼요. 전문가들의 조언은 언제나 받아들일 준비가 되어 있습니다. 그리고 저 또한 일반인들의 지나가는 한마디에 흔들릴 정도로 음악을 가볍게 생각하지는 않습니다. 현실적으로 지금 당장 다경이의 음악적인 선택과 판단은 저와 다경이의 몫이기 때문에, 저는 지금도 항상 음악 많이 듣고 늦은 나이지만 음악 공부하고 악기 연습하고 그렇게 하루하루를 보내고 있습니다. 아무리 음악 책을 많이 읽고 이론에 밝아도 실제로 연주하지 않고서는 그 느낌을 정확히 알수 없으니까요. 평생 음악을 들어왔고 30년이상을 악기를 연주했지만, 저는 음악적으로는 성공하지 못했습니다. 그렇기 때문에 음악이 얼마나 어려운지도 알고, 훌륭한 경쟁자들도 많은지 잘 알고 있습니다. 일반인들의 칭찬과 격려는 많은 힘이 되겠지만, 그걸로 인해 자만하거나 나태해지지는 않을겁니다.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/faaVl5JjZZZ1mqc 물론 찾아서 들어보셨겠지만 말살리스가 19세에 녹음했다고 합니다. 다경이도 재능을 타고 났으니 대학생이 되면 말살리스를 뛰어 넘는 연주가 나올 것 같아요. 본인도 톤 조절을 엄청 신경쓰면서 연주하는게 보이는데요 얼마나 영특합니까? 무엇보다도 다경이가 음악을 정말 좋아하고 즐기는게 보여서 저도 행복합니다. 비슷한 나이대의 연주를 좀 찾아봤는데요 articulation이 비교할 수 없을 정도로 정확하고 좋네요. 날개를 달아 줄 영재교육이 정말 필요하겠어요. 미국으로 이주하셔야 하는 것 아닌가 싶네요.ㅎㅎㅎ

At 10 years old? Way too beyond imagination. So very proud of this young beautiful and talented lady. The only difference between her and trumpet player great Mr. Wynston Marsalis is the mature sounding sound, softness and smoothness of their notes. While he played and recorded the same piece at age 19, (according to a comment on his video), this young lady is ONLY 10? Go figure!

중고등학교때 밴드부에서 트럼펫을 불었지만...하....정말 잘한다... 저 나이에 트럼펫을 저렇게 부드럽게 연주한다는것이 해 본 사람으로서 감탄스럽네.... 웬만한 사람은 소리도 내기 힘든 악기가 트럼펫이다... 입술도 아프고...ㅎㅎ... 그런데 너무 자연스러운 음색이 ... 와우...와우... 세계적인 거장이 되길 기원해요...!!!!!
