Just got back from church. My daughter and her family took me. I cried at the end of the service because I was so grateful to be in church again after 2 years of not going live. Virtual church just isn't the same. Now I feel like I have celebrated Christmas! God is so good to me. Tomorrow is for the kids, tonight was my Christmas and always has been since I was a kid. This is when I feel the joy, my heart bursts with joy sitting in church, singing the hymns and hearing the Christmas Story. I wish you both a very Merry Christmas with lots of joy and love from me to you.

The motif is “The two Scandinavian Princes”, in which two handsome princes take their VW Beetle over twenty mountain passes and back on Christmas Eve to buy the last little tree in a gas station parking lot, and in which the beetle, the TV, and the Swedish-Argentinian prince’s patience all break down, but Christmas is magic and it all works out! Carlos, your reaction to having to smash the house was incredible. So funny I almost cried. Cheers for your fun calendars, and another god jul!!

I've been catching up on the Christmas episodes. They've been a balm to me. My husband of 44 years is in the hospital and for 3 days he was close to death. The hospital staff worked hard to care for both of us. After his surgery I was so relieved I just cried. Thank you for taking my mind off his health. I was very sad to see Advent 2022 come to an end, and with it the new tale of The Little Gingerbread House That Could. But it has been such a fun ride, with warmhearted comments, useful knitting tips, the tray with the Beetle and Christmas tree, and the friendly oversight of the two dead Santas! I hope everybody has a warm and wonderful Christmas, with special hopes going out to all the people without power in the stormy U.S.A. and especially for our friends in Ukraine and other places in the world that are not warm and cozy. Long, long ago, two Norwegian princes tied their purchased christmas tree (it was nearly the last one left!) on top of their VW-Beetle and drove home. It was very cold, and suddenly their car broke down. They phoned the service station but they were very, very buzy the day before christmas ... But their Guardian Angel sent help, and after some hours of waiting the two princes were safrly at home. In memory of this event the two princes stitched the scene on a piece of cloth and fitted it on a tray. - Thank you so much and God Yul!

Guess #24: The Scandanavian Princes now clad in their traditional folk costumes that they made mostly themselves - complete with gorgeous red plaid vests - had an adventure long long ago when their VW Beetle broke down in the freezing cold when they went out into the Norwegian mountains to find a Christmas tree - after some uncertainty they arrived home and decorated their tree with what else? I think Arne is capable of knitting mountains. He is so productive!! I spent 7 years making a sweater once and then when my babysitter saw it (yes, I started it way before I was even considering ever having a baby) and as I was finishing it I just gave it to her. She loved it and it fit her perfectly. Another great tip guys, plus the extra..just have fun, relax, it's only knitting. I will tell you the best tip - use Arne and Carlos yarn! I finished a sweater with the Norwegian Wool and just got to wear it for the first time. So warm and not itchy. Soft and beautiful. I am also knitting with the Regis sock yarn and I love watching the pattern appear. Thanks for it all.

Feliz Navidad y Un Ano 😍 Arne y Carlos. It has been so soothing and fun sharing wonderful moments with the Two Princes of Norway. I could see how caring you two are when it was hard for you to break the ginger house pinata. I just drueled at that yummy gingerbread. It has been such a fun theme for Advent. Thank you so much 💖. Now I will guess the embroidered framed picture commemorates a fairytale based on a true story of "Two Princes in their quest to find the most beautiful Christmas 🎄 in all of the Kingdom in their special VW Beetle Carriage". It was amazing how they found the Christmas 🎄 many miles away in Doca, but sadly their Beetle broke down and in that cold waited to be rescued and finally made it home. Their tree looked so frosty once home. Cozy at home the Two Princes sat to watch their favorite Christmas shows and the TV was broken. Luck was on their side and they went to town and found one and they lived happily ever after watching their favorite Christmas shows and their decorated 🎄 with beautiful Christmas balls and a bright red bow. The title of the fairytale is "Christmas and the Two Princes saved by the Best Beetle Ever". What a magnificent fairytale ever of those very special Princes.

I'm a beginner knitter but have been crocheting for 16 years. I wanted to thank you for the knit stitch tutorial. I am a closed handed crocheter and was getting frustrated with not being able to keep my finger up when knitting. As it turns out the Norwegian style is what is natural to me and I wasn't doing anything wrong. What a relief it was finding you gentleman. Coincidentally I also drive a VW Bug.
