Big Dog it's his college money for going to school grants and such I would assume And that he has NO JOB!! 25k is alot of money Honestly if he was going to try running a card shop of his own either in person or online I would only sell the new stuff at the store and have the older stuff online with my own website And only have a small select group of older stuff at my shop Incase of theives always a guard at the door on standby at all times Keep the store kinda like a jail with one way in and out But plenty of lighting And cameras all around Maybe I would look into holding weekly tournaments on Friday Saturday and Sunday Pokemon Friday Saturday yugioh and Sunday magic the gathering Monday-friday would be just regular sales Of singles and boxes Tins and such Always at least 4 tables for people to sit at and play for fun. But this is all theoretical what I might do but I don't have the kind of money this guy had. Have like 6-10 people working inside the store. 3 for deals behind the counter 4 to help regulate tournaments and act as judges 3 just walking around watching people Might do like a snack lounge. I don't know Boy wouldn't it be nice to have a shop of my own This dude is living the life

James Bower highly doubt it, because you can do that now with all the new boxes coming out and just let time do the work. The same way these held value back the same way the new ones will. Give or take 15 years.

James Bower I’m a bit late lol, but here’s how I think of it; It’s all generational. The things we shun and believe to not be of any value ever will possibly become valuable in the future, but to people like us who want to be like us. (Except with different inventory to find) Zexal, arc V, and Vrains era packs will potentially hold value in the future due to younger players 20 years from now wanting to play past formats they couldn’t experience at that developmental stage in their life. Not only that, but the inevitability of scarcity in sealed product as more people open them and they become far harder to find later on.

Im curious what your plans are for all the sealed product you purchased. Obviously it would be smart to hold onto a lot of it because it will naturally rise in value, but again you are a business now and need to generate money for overhead costs and such. Is this 50 grand for kaibas collection more of an investment type deal for the future or do you plan on selling some of this stuff immediately on your new website? Also, I would reccomend checking out Alpha investments youtube channel if you don't do so already he has some really insightful information in respect to starting your own card shop :)
