This is the one. All your drills are excellent, they are showing me where I need to go. But this one nails it for me. After 30 years, it's a struggle to change my occasionall throwing of the club. It happens when I get tired, shorter swing/ snatch etc. I believe I'm thinking more of the strike, rather than this simple move and let it happen. I've rehearsed this, I'm thinking a two word thought; turn, back. Really looking forward to bedding this in. Thanks Warren.

Cheers Keith for your feedback and hope it can help, it’s common when we get a bit fatigued to not get coiled/turned enough. Wishing you well Warren

Thank you for all the Videos, really like the July series It's really inspiring. I Live in apartment but still bought a net and a smaller mat to be able to put it up somewhere för a 3 hour session. Range cost in Sweden is higher and to do smaller shots feels like a waste of money. I am 11 hcp and soon 59 years old, really want some distance back so I will work on my snap and try to not being so stiff. Next season will be Great and I already seen some progression when learning from your videos. A Humble Thank You from Sweden. 😊

Hi Mikael l, many thanks for your message and wishing you well, great work regarding practice at home, I agree you can do a lot away from range that can help. Many thanks for you support it means a great deal. Regards Warren 🇬🇧 🇸🇪

This is great, my biggest issue is early extension, standing up, moving my hips towards the ball during the downswing. I remember an earlier video you did that you mentioned feeling the right shoulder coming underneath, that's a feel I try and do during the downswing, helped me massively. I would love to see a video on Tempo, my transition is super quick and I hate it! I need to massively shorten and feel a pause at the top of the swing. Hoping you can help :) Thanks again Warren, brilliant July series, appreciate all the time and effort that goes into these.

Thanks Jon appreciate you taking the time out to watch and message. Of course re tempo, always feel taking tension out of the grip can have an affect on speed. Do some swings feeling grip pressure is only 2/10 throughout the swing, and feel like the first half of the backswing is in super slow motion. Many thanks Warren

Great explanation thank you. I’ve been working on this skill using the chair drill for all my swings at my practice station. My focus to see how far back I can move the chair on the back and through swing. I’ve found easier on the first move backswing however moving to my left takes much more focus.

Hi Edward, many thanks for your message. Sound great what you’re doing, yes introducing weight shift to it is difficult but the most important element is the spine angle, the weight shifting can happen after. Wishing you well Warren

The Sam Snead Squat, no?
@warrenbennettgolfacademy6 ай бұрын
Yes, I’m showing a different feel here and an exaggerated version. That gives me an idea, I might do a video on Snead’s squat. Many thanks Warren

Thanks for the instruction. You might want to change the title from 'Extention' (17th C) to Extension

Thanks Phil I’ll see what I can do. Cheers Warren

Can you do this in slo mo please - I’m trying to follow this exactly - but keep hitting behind the ball - thus I presume which then creates the early extension

Hi Kevin, I’ll introduce more slow mo swings in the future. Thanks Warren
