Very well done & Thanks to Rune International for the Ruko parts. Quite interesting as I believe you said the round cutout sleeve was the newer update by Ruko, so makes since in that respect from the Ruko Design team as (updated improvements, and probably easier to make).

Great video and thanks for sharing. I love the Rulo locks. I only have one but eventually I will get some more as soon as I get a little jextra time for picking.

Great video! I just received the ruko with gins and an oval sleeve and was able to pick it thanks to your video series on gins. Thanks! My ASSA 700 is up next 😅🤞

Great video again. Good to see these evolutions. Surprising the oval shape wasn't harder indeed. I would expect the same just from theory. Guess we're missing something 🙂 Thanks for this part of the series👍

Great video. 1970’s tech. Will just continue to use the pickgun. That and bumpkeys do not care about sleeves. That is why we have not installed these simple locks for the last 20+ years.

well done, now to find some NOS versions and pick em to see if a fresh sleeve makes it much harder

I wish they were easy to find. They stopped production over 20 years ago

I just finished your gin series and I have to say, these videos are amazing. I can't believe you've been on here ten months and have less than 1k subscribers. I'm that will change soon though. I feel lucky to get in on something special so early. Looking forward to more!

The result that round sleeve holes was better was indeed surprising! If Ruko has switched to that design in later models it does suggest that there's a real difference. Do you know if the sleeve is manufactured by stamping which would make round and elliptical holes equally expensive to manufacture so it wouldn't be a reason to favor one design over another?

Since key pins do not have spool-like features, could you open this lock by overlifting all the pins and then slowly letting them to drop the shearline?

You have interesting technique with two tension bars grabbing the plug similar to pliers. Have you invented this technique by yourself or has this been described elsewhere previously?
