One of my brothers is allergic to bee stings. Now I wonder how that works-a doctor who was a family friend told him that if he gets stung again he’ll likely die. I’ma guessing that it works similarly to my penicillin allergy…survived the exposure, but the second time _really_ kicks ass and then you’re dead!

Randal again, as I was saying, it contains a syringe, two antihistamine tablets, and an alcohol swab. You tie of off the sting with a tourniquet provided, give yourself a shot and chew and swallow the pills. It really works! I have a friend who is a mailman who is also allergic. He carries one as well since wasps often build nests under mailboxes. He's had to use it several times.

The other problem with air bags? I managed to deploy them while rearending somebody. I know I was clearly in control of my car, and was trying to make sure that I didn't cause an accident. Then, all I know is that I'm wondering why I can't see in front of me, why I can't seem to find the brakes. The air bags had deployed, and I needed to look OVER it. And there were under dash air bags that went off, preventing my feet from finding either the brakes or the gas. I lost at least 20 seconds of memory because of it. I was NOT happy!

Seriously????? I knew as a kid (pin not intended lol) all that about goats AND our goats were lead trained! They were literally like dogs, loved us so much. And we them. We had one from 3 days old, the others from 3 weeks apart from a 2 year old who gave us loads of milk as sadly her kid had been taken, we couldn't rescue them in time. But seriously, took scientists to 2016 to discover what anyone raised around goats already knew??? (Which is why I could never eat a boat any more than I could a dog or cat!!!!!!!!!!!)

@@rattlecat5968 I agree. I have eaten almost every animal (native) and since starting my homestead 7 years ago I stopped eating animals (I eat meat maybe 3-4 times a month but not mine). I can't raise my babies and then eat them. I do eat like 6-18 eggs a day though. I joke about my 3-legged goat is how I found out I'm a pescatarian I was 1/4 of the way through him

@@justinrogers7818🤣 1/4 way through the goat! Reminds me of a joke about the farmer's 3 legged prize pig. A new friend asked the farmer what happened to the pig's lost leg. To which the farmer replied, *"Well, he's a Blue Ribbon winning prize pig! We didn't want to eat him all at once!"* (You were joking right? I mean, about your goat being partially eaten before you realized you only wanted to eat fish?) 🤣 😒 But, speaking to the eggs you eat each day. *Six to 18 A DAY???* What must your LDL/HDL numbers look like!? Your cardiologist must be taking bets on how much longer you have! 😳

Hobbs is my 3-legged house goat. He's a Nigerian dwarf and goes everywhere with me and the ferrets. He sometimes shares his couch with me and the dogs and cats. We have been inseparable since I got him at 4 days old. 3 months of bottle feeding and potty training. He uses the walk-in shower to pee at night. He only mehs when he can't find/see me. I have a lot of animals and pigs are easier to train than dogs and horses followed by goats and then cats but they can all come, sit, sit up pretty and go around

I have a lot of trouble with anxiety stress, being a doctor surgeon, working in the ER especially on nights on the weekends and having a little kid maybe three years old a toddler who has been shot three times in a gang shot tout. That’s why we make jokes around the hospital . We at Rent. Morbid. We have to keep our selves from getting stressed. When you see the dancing nurses or doctors . We are first responders . We we’re very stressed during Covid. That’s why we have to make jokes or dance. You try being a doctors or surgeons feel when we have to work all day or all night.

As a healthcare/caregiver, if you or someone you know have a fever of 102, keep an absolute eye on yourself or them, because at 104, you want to seek medical attention ASAP. Something very serious is going on that can or will cause you to have brain damage. At 106 or higher, your basically going to start having brain damage.

I've never been stung by a bee that I can recall. But I've been stung twice by wasps. Once in 1970 when I was 5 years old eating lunch at my primary school. And once about 3 weeks ago when I felt a sharp little nip on my bare foot as I walked from the kitchen to the living room in my house. I looked down thinking it was just a sort of pins and needles thing, and saw the wasp fall off my foot onto the floor dead. It must have stung me with it's last breath. As a sort of going away present lol. Luckily I'm not allergic to anything. So it was just red and itchy for a couple of hours is all.

I first learned about how bad fevers can be for people from the movie Osmosis Jones; sure, it's partially animated, but when you get down to the basics of how the body works on a fundamental level and compare it to how it's explained in the movie, it's pretty darn accurate... It got pretty sad near the end when the guy's fever gets super high...
